Best Italian food in Paris! This place is very special. The Food is of a superb quality - my grandma is Italian and the pasta here just taste the same! Unmatched quality of food and the staff is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Pasta and Pizza are equally great. Make sure to try the Tiramisu (amazing!). Definitely a must go when you are in Paris!

All homemade and I will say the best pasta i’ve ever had in my life. Staff was incredible and it was full of locals. We didn’t have a reservation but they served us drinks while we waited and then got us in quickly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! A truly hidden gem and the best dinner we had in our 5 days in Paris. AMAZING!

Ce petit, restaurant l'Italien, est particulièrement bon. J'ai fait beaucoup de restaurants et pas mal d'Italien et je dois dire que j'ai rarement mangé aussi bien que chez eux ☺️ Vous serez très bien reçu, le personnel étant adorable et prenant le temps de vous expliquer chaque plat du jour comme il se doit. Les plats sont vraiment très bons, parfois un peu légers sur les portions peut-être, mais le fait maison de vous et de ressenti directement dès les premières bouchées ❤️ La décoration est plutôt standard, mais avec du charme. On reste sur des tons bois et briques rouges, agrémentée de quelques tableaux. Vous pourrez voir des aliments et boissons disponibles, ceux-ci étant utilisés dans les préparations ou disponibles à la vente. Penser à réserver avant de venir, car le restaurant est vite et se remplit rapidement. Penser également qu'il vous faudra le temps pour manger tranquillement Je vous recommande sans problème et avec plaisir ce restaurant.

We were initially going to a different Italian place to eat right up the street but wound up being turned away and were recommended to Croccante, and I am so glad we took the recommendation. We walked in and right away had amazing customer service from their staff, they didn’t have tables available but made room for us at the bar to order from the dinner menu. I would suggest making a reservation as it is a small space and you might not be so lucky to just walk in. Everything was so delicious, reasonably priced and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Best caprese and fresh bread I’ve ever eaten. Pasta was absolutely amazing and if we are ever back in Paris, this will be a must for...

The staff was so friendly and welcoming to this solo diner and they genuinely engaged with all their guests. I would highly recommend it to visitors and small groups. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious, but it was the Sicilian cannoli that won my heart.

4/4/24 - I returned to Croccante after a several year gap and had another amazing meal. This time it was for lunch. The service was so friendly and welcoming. I had the gnocchi margarita again, but opted for the daily dessert which was a chocolate/almond cake with a light dusting of cocoa and powdered sugar. It was dense, rich and nutty flavored. I am so happy that Croccante is just as wonderful now as when I visited it...

Our favorite Italian food in Paris ... maybe our favorite meal in Paris. We've been there on each of our three Paris visits after discovering it on a recommendation from our host on our first trip in 2012. It's a bit off the beaten path, but it's near one attraction: we highly recommend taking in the city views from the top of Tour Montparnasse and finishing your evening at Croccante, about a five-minute walk.

We've tried several pizza and pasta varieties, and they were all exceptional. We ask a lot of questions about spice level, food and wine pairings, and more (in English, their third language), and we appreciate the waiters'...
