This Hotel is a nightmare!

-In general the rooms are very old and you hear the train passing every 5 minutes (starting around 5 or 6 AM until late) which frightened us multiple times in our sleep as it felt like a earthquake. I wouldn’t have mentioned this in a review but after we were treated badly by the staff, I thought I would tell you details.

Personally we Booked this place after we got scammed by an Airbnb and an other hotel transactioned the amount twice by accident which resulted in our budget shrinking and not having a lot of money anymore. This hotel cost approx. 110 the night we booked 2 nights after that they told us we had to check out because it was full. We spent one night in a bar and on the street with friends because we had no other solution and came back to check in the day after. The woman in the reception on 28.06.2022 was so unbelievably rude charged us more than double the price for a room without AC, didn’t give me a receipt and insisted on taking a 50 euro deposit for the mini bar even though we tried to explain our situation. She wouldn’t even hear us out. I told her multiple times that we can bring her the bottles to the reception and put them back when we check out, and other solutions and she would just be childish, non efficient, not customer friendly, telling us we would have to leave the hotel. Only after I proposed the idea of giving her my credit card she said that that worked too. She then said „I had no idea you owned a credit card“. Why wouldn’t I have a credit card? Because I have a dark skin and that makes me “poor”? Isn’t it her job to ask first before making assumptions? Kind regards to that woman - I have a job in a hospital as a doctor and I hope she gets the help she needs and she stops racially profiling paying customers. The next thing happened on the same evening/night when my friend (I shared the room with which happens to be a POC too) was denied entry because the receptionist didn’t believe that he was a hotel guest. As I was sleeping already, my friend asked the desk to give him a new key card but they didn’t want to. Again racial profiling at its finest. If you’re seeing this review: avoid this hotel, avoid paris if possible, there are far better places to feel like a...

We made the mistake of booking a hotel at the last minute in Paris, as we needed a place to stay for a 1-night stopover, and had to leave from Gare Montparnasse the next morning so the hotel location was perfect. Probably the only good thing to say about this hotel! It is a short walk from the Metro right across the street (Montparnasse Bienvenue). First off, the lift is very tiny and so it was just as well our suitcases were very compact. We were given a very small room which was directly above a very popular restaurant, the Bouillon Chartier, which had long queues in the evening for dinner. We could hear the noise from the dining room until nearly midnight! And that was not the worst part, because the whole room rumbles and shakes whenever the metro passes underneath, and this happened extremely often until very late at night. The walls were also so thin that you could hear your neighbours having a shower. And since it is on a main road, you can hear emergency vehicles with sirens screaming up and down the road. To be fair, it did get much quieter after midnight. ||The room was very, very tired, the furniture was old, the Wifi was slow and the sheets and blanket did not feel very clean (there was a stain on the blanket). Nor did the bathroom feel very clean, in fact there was a silverfish crawling on the bathroom floor.||In the morning, we could smell the cooking from the restaurant below.|We didn't bother to have the breakfast, since there are cafes nearby that serve perfectly adequate breakfasts.|Maybe 2 stars if the room were cheaper, but it's worth only 1 star because it is outrageously overpriced for...

I stayed for 2 nights the room was clean bathroom clean, reception very rude, Manager not bothered they care a damn about the customers. I was told upon checking in that bread’s was included irrespective of you have your vegetarian option or not. Upon checkout they asked for extra charge because the staff had changed. Upon bringing it up to the Manager she entered spoke and laughed with the reception staff and walked away carelessly. Im waiting for the original reception staff to arrive so that I could bring it up with her. I thought I had found a good place to share with friends and Families living in London but No I would not want anyone be treated like this. I’m completely dissatisfied. Hotels should always be of Good services about taking care of the guests with their utmost capacity. The extra charge of 2 days breakfast for 1 person was around €26 that’s not the point, but not resolving the issue not wanting to check with the other reception staff, was a service unexpected. All the reception staff had same attitude as if they come like a machine check in people send them off and are not bothered of anything else at all….. I’m having a very bad experience… They never disclosed the reception staff name, as she was off duty. I asked for her name to resolve it with her 2 days later after she came back from holiday but NO they refused. I have had a really Bad experience with this hotel. They think once a customer leaves they will never return it’s Paris ….people only come to visit may be but they are wrong some experiences lay a mark...

STINKING ROOM! This was my worst Hotel experience. So bad, that for the First time in my life, I had to check out early. As soon as we entered the room, we immediately noticed the very strong smell of body odors. The air was very stale and stinky. It smelt like the changing room of a very cheap gym. We immediately opened the window and noticed the reason. There was a scaffolding and a mesh that prevented any airflow (see attached fotos). We reached out to the reception and they didn’t even bother to come to our room and see (smell) the problem for themselves. This means that they either did not care or that they knew the problem but still offer the room. They could not give us another room as the hotel was fully booked they said. And because we checked in late at night, there was no time to find another hotel and we were stuck in that room for the night with our three year old child. The next day, we checked out and obviously were denied a refund for the following nights were we did not want to stay at the hotel anymore. Apart from that the hotel was very old and the bathroom was moldy. And the constant vibrations from the metro are also very disturbing. 1100€ down the gutter and our first night in Paris ruined.

Actually your hotel is very nice but when you check in you treat your customers like potential criminals which upsets me. Even though I paid my fee with my credit card, you asked for a 100 euro deposit for products that could have been bought from the market for 10 euros in your mini fridge. This is an unprecedented insult. However, it was my first day in the city and I did not let you ruin my day with this and I wanted you to know that I gave the money. There is no music etc. in the lobby seating area and there is no one in the kitchen area during the day, which makes the atmosphere cold and meaningless. When we order drinks, there is no menu or price information, which makes me think that there is no such service here. There was no one even to ask for a coffee, but I would have preferred to spend time in the lobby rather than sitting in a crowded cafeteria.

A value for money hotel. Great location. Basic amenities but staffs were friendly and good. They spoke good English. The location was great with lots of food joints as well a metro station right outside the hotel. There is a very popular restaurant right next door with queue all around the day. They were ok the store luggage as well as allowed late checkins. Wifi also worked well. The toilet was spacious but felt a bit old as the doors were not working very well.
