!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS HOTEL IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never actually taken the time to write a review on TripAdvisor, however this one is extremely necessary. I cannot stress enough that this hotel is not safe to stay in. After saving up to make the trip to Paris before Christmas, we returned to our room to find that all of our cash, an expensive camera and my watch had been stolen. There was no broken entry to the room meaning that it must have been someone within the hotel that had committed the theft. The hotel was unwilling to call the police or even refund us for our stay - we obviously weren't going to stay there for even one night! Since leaving, the hotel have been extremely uncooperative, have refused to review the CCTV within the hotel and have also refused to replace our stolen items, even though they obviously took them from us.
After looking at other reviews, I can sadly say that this is NOT the first time that this has happened at the 'hotel' - if you can even call it that. I would not want the same thing to happen to anyone else and would urge you to genuinely think before putting yourself at risk and choosing to stay here.
After having to pay to move somewhere else for our stay, we are majorly out of pocket and we are disgusted by the treatment we received. Please think before booking. The rooms are also tiny, the walls very thin and you could barely move in the bathroom because it's that small....
Read moreAfter having read all the low rated reviews about this hotel I was very scared about my stay. However, I can say that La Parizienne is an excellent hotel. We were give a room on the 6th floor. Our room was spacious with a fantastic view. We stayed in Paris for 3 days and the room was serviced every day. There was a TV, fridge and hair dryer. the bathroom was amazing with a shower too and towels were replaced every single day. Tea and coffee is available all day for free! The team at the reception was very helpful and it was nice to chat with them when coming in and out of the hotel. A big shout out to Wilfried and the young ladies (I forgot their names) for their friendly but professional service . The reception is manned 24 hours so this is a plus point. The position of this hotel is fantastic with many bistros and restaurants at walking distance. we were looking for Halal food and we found many restaurants nearby. Oh and there is also a supermarket near the hotel called G20 with amazing offers. we bought lots of fresh fruits and French biscuits every day. A lovely lady called Florence served us every time. As for the the transports everything is nearby. You have busses, metro and the train station at just 5 mins from the hotel. We landed at 11am at Charles de Gaulle airport so we took the train to get the hotel but on the way back we called an Uber (37 euros) as we had an early flight. Overall I would rate this hotel as...
Read moreLet me start with the location first. The hotel is conviniently located within close proximity to metro stations that are only few stops away from key touristic spots. Its about 50 mins by walk to Eiffel tower and you can see the top half from the street itself. Ill highly recommend to get a travel pass, hotel staff is very friendly if you wish to ask for some guidance. There are plenty excellent parisan cafes and restaurants all around that are both suitably priced and have a beautiful vibe with mostly younger crowd. In terms of the room, I stayed on 5th floor and the hotel has a small lift enough for 2 people with luggage. Room was cleaned daily. Although its not the most spacious one, i think its decent enough for whats normally available in Paris and comes with most basic amenities. Laundry service is expensive in the hotel, so plan accordingly. Also my sink kept blocking the water drainage, but it wasnt to bad. They do have a buffet breakfast however I opted to eat out. You can google and check whats around. Overall, its a lovely cozy place you cant go wrong with and is perfectly located. If you have too many luggage pieces, recommend to use a taxi or bolt/uber services than metro. Enjoy. Ill add couple videos on...
