TOURISTS AND PEOPLE OF PARIS, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I visited this place with my girlfriend today and ordered a Mezze Complet at 28€ and a Mezze simple at 22€. We were served the Mezze complet which has two of each fried products (falafel, meat pastry etc) and one houmous + one aubergine paste + one taboule and one bean dish. This is all visually shown across their menus online, offline and via other reviews. The mezze complet also includes a side dish of a few meat kebabs, no issue there. We asked if we were going to be served the mezze simple but it never came. We would have in theory received all of the above except the grilled meats a second time according to their menu. When I first confronted the waiter and owner, they said that the simple was mixed into the complet and instead of paying 28€ we would have to pay 28€ + 22€. We found this a little strange as they said the simple was included into the complet which doesn't make sense at all as we would be given a double houmous, a double taboulé etc... This was not the case. We paid and left, walked five minutes and stopped to look at everything online and our bill. We realised the owner had managed to confuse us and overcharge 22€. Upon returning calmly to the restaurant, the owner when he saw us immediately started getting angry and shouting in my face. I tried to calm him down, suggest we go elsewhere to discuss how they break their menu down as we feel that it is not clear and dishonest. He started to get very aggressive and approach other customers in a bid to make a point and make us leave rather than calmly talk it out so that we could understand. We were eventually forced to leave despite standing our ground. We initially enjoyed the food but now we know how dishonest and vulgar your owner and establishment is, I can only wish that no one goes and sits down at your restaurant to be overcharged and treated like we were. Shame on...
Read moreMy husband and I went there on Aug. 26th using a Groupon deal we paid for online. We got the prepaid meal which is food they have on their menu as well. At first when we arrived there was a man who told us to take a walk and come back later. It was already 7pm when he told us this which we thought was strange because we had made reservations way in advance for that time. We came back around 7:15pm and were finally seated. It started well with the food for the entree. If the whole meal would have been more of that I'd have been a happy customer. But the main dish was way over cooked and completely dry. They didn't change the water that we had to finish it just to try and get down the food. The dessert was not fresh. For the dessert there was a yellow cake I honestly couldn't finish I had to pull my water bottle out of my purse just to get it down because the water wasn't changed when the last dish was brought out. There was an 45min to an hour between every dish. We wouldn't go back there and we felt bad for the people who were coming in off the street and buying at full price because they thought all the people inside were happy customers. Worst off we went there for our 4 year wedding anniversary cause times are tight at the moment. It was an adventure that...
Read moreI went to this restaurant with one of my friends who is Vegan as I thought they might offer something which can suit both our tastes. Not only did the waiter/owner agree within a heart beat to adapt his menu to our wishes he also offered us extra dishes to compensate for the ‘animal product’ dishes. Throughout our evening we were treated with the utmost respect and were always asked if everything is to our satisfaction. Normally I don’t spend too much time at the restaurant but I have the feeling I stayed all evening at this one. Moreover the food was just excellent; the price is perfectly adapted to the quantity as the plates are really generous- I couldn’t even finish it all! The variety of the menu offers many different flavours - something for everybody. I also tastet the baklava as a desert and it was just amazing. I can only recommend this place and I hope that everyone will have the same great...
