I don’t usually leave reviews but last night, I was appalled by the blatant disregard of a poor girl causing her to have to wait in line for an hour to collect her food (I collected my food and left so I don’t even know if she got her order). I understand it was very busy because the Beyoncé concert had just finished as well as people not being able to understand their numbers being called out in French causing them to be missed. Her order was put in ~ 20 minutes before my order (we chatted and I looked at her receipt time), she very politely asked the worker multiple times where her order was up to but the workers only smiled at her and continued finishing other people’s orders who ordered much later than her (I saw the order times on their receipts) and I received my food before she did. My partner ordered a milkshake as well but we abandoned it because I knew that it was never going to come out judging by the state of the line up. This incompetence angered me so much because the worker needs to know how distressing that situation is and how powerless the customer is (does she just leave without the food? - she couldn’t escalate it to anyone because she was being told over and over again that it was being processed but nobody would track where her order actually was) and the worker should be held accountable and be reprimanded...
Read moreThe guy at the door is not very nice and very pushy. I went inside on a rainy evening after work to catch up with my friends. I arrived a bit earlier and wanted to wait for his arrival to order the food together. The security guy at door just came to me, almost shouting at me as if I am a « free rider ». He said : Madame, what are you doing? I said: I am waiting for my friend. He said: no you can’t. You can not wait for your friend inside, if you don’t want to order, you have to get out.
Frankly I was impressed by his attitude. I have been to several five guys before and never have encountered things like that.
I told him that ok then I will order. He’s looking at me and saying: ok go ahead. I felt that I was under surveillance.

Read moreI had a really terrible experience. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and it was clear that the person who made it didn’t include any bacon. When I checked inside, there was indeed no bacon. When I asked the person who made it, she told me they had run out of bacon.
Did you think I wouldn’t notice if I took it to go and didn’t come back to the store? If you’re out of bacon, don’t sell it. Don’t charge me extra for something you can’t provide. This is not a free option.
