To be honest i am a five guys lover having eaten in many countries such as the UK, Canada and at this one in Paris. Three days before i went there and it was the usual; goodburger, great fries and as always unlimited drinks. The workers told me that i would have to get a new cup for every drink due to the fremch law but that having payed 3.50€ it was still unlimited. It worked out fine the first time. The second time however the 13/10/2018 at 7:31 i got a little hamburger and a drink as i was dying of thirst. As usual i put alot of ice in my cup as it improves the taste and knowing that i can get a free refill as i was there before AND it said on the wall that i could get a new drink i tried out a new drink which i sadly didnt enjoy but still finished up knowing i could get a new one. Now here comes the issue... I ask for a new cup to refill and the worker looked at me confusing then looking at her colleague who said „No refills“. At this point i told her that lastime it was okay and she just ignored me.. i then showed her a photo of the black board on the wall and read that it said that i could have a free drink , she told me she was the manager and then just purposely ignored me. As i had to catch my thalys i sadly couldnt afford to get my new drink and basically payed 3.50€ for a bucket full of ice and a beverage i didnt enjoy.
I still love five guys but i wont go to the one at Gare du Nord due to that woman blatantly ignoring a paying customer who knew the rules better than her and couldnt accept that she was wrong.
PS: The burger sucked, the bread was moist and the meat...
Read moreThis place seems to have racist practices. We bought a drink so we can seat inside. A couple of minutes after we sat, some guy comes and tell us that we cannot seat there unless we are eating 5 guys food. My friend bought the drink so we are clients, regardless if I was eating a baguette from somewhere else with coffee. He got someone else to come and insist that we needed to leave. My friend insisted she wanted to have her drink there and they said no that we needed to leave because I was eating something else and that just for a drink we couldn’t use the table that we needed to order a burger. Funny enough, half of the tables were empty and other white people around me only had a water or a drink just like us and even other food and it was ok for them to be sitting down. He came across specifically to me, the only not white person in the whole restaurant. I saw him looking at me when we came in, i look very Latin. So if you are hispanic please save yourself some bad moments and eat...
Read moreNormally, I love five guys, but this is the worst one I've ever been to. They let us order about 50 minutes before closing and said we could eat there, and they took so long for 2 burgers (25-30 minutes) that once we got our food we were told we have to leave. We had nowhere to go so we had to eat our food outside. That isnt so bad, but if you know the area youll realize how impossible it was. Just in the 5 minutes I ate my burger I probobly had 9-10 homeless people asking me for my burger or a cigarette. Finally I gave in to the 10th guy because I just wanted the experience to be done, and then he threw the burger away because it wasnt halal. My girlfriend wouldve been very unsafe if she was alone. Maybe not good to force people to eat on the street at 10:30. Just dont serve us at all. Not well cooked anyways and they had no hot dogs. Also the vending machines here are disaters. Good luck, go try...
