Grace Café — Restaurant in Paris

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon; it was clearly a busy day for the owners. I asked for a table and tried to give them my phone for the passe sanitaire; the waiter did not scan it and instead gestured towards a row of open tables. The tables were so smushed together that I couldn’t get past the cracks to the bench on the other side. There were crumbs all over the chairs and the tables, which hadn’t been cleaned. I waited 10 minutes, was finally given a menu when the waiter slapped one down on my dirty table before flouncing away, then waited another 10 minutes. He did not come to take my order even though I could see him speaking with the regulars and hanging out by the counter. At that point I decided to leave. What a shame. I have to change the review after my second visit last month. The service was bad. It was raining and windy outside. My friend and I asked if we could go inside to have our drinks but the waiter refused to let us because it was still lunch service. This is DESPITE the fact that it was almost empty inside the café (around 2 PM). And then, the waiter kept asking us 2-3 times if we had finished our drinks, she asked us to pay even if we have not finished. It is as if they wanted us to leave. The drinks are overpriced anyway. This place is awful!!! Awful environment, awful service and food!!!!! Some lady with jacket hanging on her shoulders are making coffee , she has no clue looks like a housewife who never held a coffee maker !!!!! They talk and gossip about clients and smile like idiots after that on their faces!!!! From the next door a girl brings cookies and put With HANDS on the counter!!!!!
