TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! Been to so many Asian restaurant here in Paris mainly in pyramid and Belleville , yet came to this place because of the old restaurant I used to come, another Asian restaurant which was closed and this restaurant was opened at the same place. Hence my friend who’s pregnant and I decided to eat here. When we entered, all the waiter were busy with their phones and didn’t even say hello. So we asked if the restaurant is closed? After then they asked us to come inside. There’s literally no one in the restaurant. We ordered our food, and while me and my friend was talking, one of the waiter just kept listening to our conversation and we doubted if he’s from our same nationality since we are also Asian. My friend asked him friendly what’s his nationality since all of Asian looks pretty much same, that waiter started cussing to my friend using all the bad words, we both were shocked yet she politely explained him that he looks like our nationality which is why she asked. Long story short he told us to leave the restaurant, and we didn’t finish yet but we paid the bills already. My friend need to use the toilet and he kept telling us that he will beat us if we didn’t leave. All of his staff has seen yet no one bothered. While I was waiting for my friend, he told me that he will beat me if I don’t leave and I really politely explain him that since I’ve paid the food hence i will leave when I’m done. My friend came out from loo and he started cussing her and almost came so close to her and beat her. I interfered by gently explaining him that she’s pregnant and please don’t do such. But instead he said a bad words to both of us and nearly beat us. I was so horrified with the experience. The food is average, It’s frozen gyoza which I understand but the behavior of the people who work there. Omg - never had I met any Asian like that in my life ever. Pls don’t go there even by mistake. We’ve complained him at police office and the officer will pay visit to his restaurant...
Read moreCertainly one of the better ramen bowls I've had around Europe. Tried Kodawari last time I was in Paris and that was great plus their interior is well done. Here, the room is modernish with cafe style tables very close to each along ty the wall. The options for selecting your preference for doneness of the noodles is nice. I also really like the option of ordering extra noodles if need be. Tried the red miso paste and garlic oil ramen with egg and pork (Tonkotsu special) and it was delicious. Had some gyoza as well, one regular and one with red miso paste. Both delicious and home made. Quite greasy which could turn some off but I really liked them and with some vinegar to balance it a bit. It was very busy there but service was okay given how busy the only woman server was. She was helpful and kept a smile despite the stressful environment. I...
Read moreAn average ramen in a chaotic setting and terrible service Ramen is not fantastic, but also not terrible. It was ok, and although pricey, I guess this is Paris What threw me off was how difficult it was even to get acknowledged — I walked in, was told to wait until they clean the table, so I did. And then I was neglected for so long that the chef behind the counter had to point it out to get me acknowledged. I get that it can get busy, but that’s an excuse only to a certain extent. I finally get seated but the tables are so close together that it is almost impossible for me to get seated. People seating next to me and I had to move their table for me to pass through, and honestly I am more on the tiny side.. Once I was seated my order was taken promptly, but the table was still very dirty with...
