Racism never experienced before ever in my life before..please read before visiting
All - I would like to make a humble request to read this review before visiting this restaurant......completely in shocked with the experience we had recently. We visited this restaurant for dinner on 26th Dec 2018 at around 8 pm hoping for some good Indian food..we ordered the food and as expected we experienced some deliberate delays made on our orders for which we had to leave our table to request them at the counter to serve our food since my kids were hungry..we finally finished our food , somehow got served what we wanted and i went to pay the bill at the counter and guess what i was told by the owner of the restaurant..WE DO NOT ENTERTAIN INDIANS , WE DONT LIKE YOU..IF YOU GO FURTHER INTO THIS STREET , THERE WOULD BE RESTAURANTS WHO WONT EVEN LET YOU ENTER THEIR PREMISES....INDIANS ARE NOT LIKED BY US WHO ARE FRENCH...and guess what the guy who is the owner of this place is a Bangladeshi originally and had the audacity to speak to us like this..... I request you to please support me here and ensure you make enough and more noise on this incident as this has upsetted my family to the core and our experience of holidaying in...

We were in Paris and found this Indian restaurant near our hotel and went to try some Indian snacks. Luckily we got Pakoras and we ordered the same. It was not good at all and we thought to move to some other restaurant just after the snacks.
But when we asked for bill we saw that they have added €5 in our bill as various charges. When we asked reason for same they said it is because you did not order for minimum value and unfortunately we had to pay the same. I don't think there is any rule to have minimum order value for bill so he in turn cheated us. We have eaten in many restaurants and no one informed us about this rule. Staff was very arrogant there and we felt cheated after leaving the restaurant.
I would not recommend any one to try this restaurant in Paris. They are cheating as we in Paris will not be able to...
Read moreWe are from Canada - we had been travelling all day and just wanted to stay home. However, we decided to go out on the streets and look for a restaurant. We found the India Gate in minutes, just a block from our apartment. Everything was so appealing that I think we ordered half the menu!!!. It was a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional, the waiter was polite and very attentive. We had one last day left in Paris before returning home and we decided we would go back to the India Gate. When we arrived, we were greeted and were offered a lovely seat by the window. Once again, the attention and food was amazing. No matter which distric we stay in next time we are in Paris, we will make our way back to the India Gate. ...
