it's a shame that I didn't get to taste the food and the service is horrible. my sister and I went there to have lunch after she just arrived in Paris and we sat at a table and then a waiter came and took our order (he didn't even write out the order down which was kind of weird) so we waited for the food to come but it didn't arrive, so after 40 minutes of waiting (the restaurant wasn't even busy) we asked another waitress about our order which she went away and came back saying that the other waiter who took out order "forgot" to place our order (so actually we were waiting literally for nothing) and the waitress proceeded to apologize and she just placed the order again, then my sister told me that she didn't want to waste her time at a place that has the worst service so we canceled the order and went to the cafe in front of this restaurant was no one forgot our order. so avoid this...

Most unprofessional staff ever, run by a band of 21 year olds who have no experience in customer service or manners. Asked 3 times for the bill, then we got up to leave and the waitress says loudly excuse me where do you think you are going? We were surprised as my husband thought I had paid as I had gone inside the bar for a whike. Meanwhile all three of us had asked for the bill, I was so upset at the attitude of the waitress I told her please next time if something like that happens ask civily that the bill hasn't been paid. The bill was a mere 26 euros. The 21 year manager came and said stop moralizing my staff and don't come back here. From the beginning when we ordered drinks they looked pained to serve us, didn't smile and worse serve a cheap wine instead of the Bordeaux I had ordered. Stay away as the staff are rude and have an attitude problem. It's like asking the gods...

** Tickets can be purchased in advance and drastically cut down waiting time- but do sell out well in advance, I advise purchasing these when you know you're coming as they tend to be sold out within a few days notice- however we queued and it was no bother.

Really worth a detour from the more well known Paris tourist attractions, they open from 10am it is worthwhile turning up about half an hour early and arming yourself with some coffee and croissants, the que time was about an hour which is fine when the weather is good.

there are "professional que-attendants" who will sell you their place in the queue to jump ahead- but it depends on how bothered you are about a wait.
