I have visited this family-owned small business a few times and really enjoy so many things about them!
First, the coffee is great - Iâve tried the cold brew and lattes, and they are delicious with a « clean » taste. Other cafes in Paris will just make a hot coffee and put ice in it to make an iced coffee, which will leave a bitter and acidic taste. You can tell that Juni coffee makes real cold brew, which is tasty and easy enough to drink without any sugar or milk (for those non-Parisians like myself that donât always drink coffee black).
I also enjoy their pastries and bread. The tahini cookie is very big! And delicious without being overly sweet. Itâs also hearty enough to have as a mid day snack, which fills you up just enough.
They place an emphasis on the Armenian culture, while giving it a modern feel in the center of Paris. The business branding is so cute and across the board - thé glasses, plates, and everything else is cohesive and chic, with their name on everything (no generic ikea cups here)
The staff is also very, very nice and accommodating, and pleasant and easy to talk to - both in English and French!
I would highly recommend spending time here with a friend - for non coffee drinkers, they also have yummy matcha and other types of drinks, and enough space on the sidewalk to enjoy...
Read moreWe stopped by CafĂ© Juni after a stroll through the Bastille marchĂ©, and it was the perfect break. We had coffee, a pain au chocolat, and a ham & cheese bun. The coffee was smooth, the pastry was flaky and delicious, but the highlight was definitely the ham & cheese bun. They were generous with the filling plenty of ham and cheese which made it hearty, flavorful, and excellent value for the price. It really stood out as more than just a simple snack. The cafĂ© itself feels cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. A lovely spot for quality pastries and coffee â weâd happily return after another...
Read moreperfect matcha on oat milk, without added sugar as it it usually in other placesđ very friendly staff, meet you with a smile, welcoming atmosphere even though I spoke English:)
I like the paper straws and also wish cups were plastic free as well in the future.
The interior is minimalistic and without clutter, I bet it is a pleasure to just sit there, read a book or do some work on your pc. Gives very much Copenhagen vibe.
Absolutely loved it and will be back to taste...
