I just think the reviews are too high for this. My food was ok. Slightly overcooked hardboiled eggs with some mayonnaise on top. A “salad” made of iceberg lettuce and one tomato. The tartare was decent. It was a bit lower than food one could make at home, just at a higher price.
The big put off was when I approached the restaurant I saw two guys smoking outside so I went inside to hopefully get fresher air. As soon as I sat down they came in and it turns out they were the workers. I’m sure the chef washed his hands, at least I would want to assume so. The server did not however. I wanted to leave the second I saw this but it was getting late and needed some dinner. Halfway through my meal the server went outside to start smoking again and even though I was inside I could smell it all.
Definitely a disappointment. Definitely not a 4.7 in terms of either experience or food....

What caught my eye was they served steak tar tar. When ready for dinner that night, we went there for the tar tar. What a fun experience. So genuine, so friendly, despite that they did not speak a lick of English, we got by. Decent selection of draft beers, excellent choice of wines, very reasonable prices for both food and drinks. . Pleasant background music. A total mix of patrons. It was such a pleasant experience, we returned a few days later to the same vibe. This time for the duck ( confit de canard Maison) OMG GOOD The owner treated us to an after dinner cheese plate ( on the house)....
