I booked a family room back in Oct 2024 for 1 night - I like to support smaller hotels as opposed to chains when I can. Three weeks before arrival, I received a rather curt message telling me to cancel the room! I had to ask booking.com why this was. Apparently, the hotel had mis-priced the room and now wanted 100 euros extra! It was too late to book elsewhere, at this very late stage for the Easter holiday period.|When we arrived - after the check in time of 3pm - the room was not ready. We received several different times from the people on reception whilst waiting in the rather bland, small reception area. As they had already taken payment from my card, I guess there was no real rush in their eyes but we really wanted to freshen up. Note you will need to pay the city tax in cash. |Eventually we were told it was ready - after 4pm. However, when we arrived at the top floor, the cleaner was still in there - and there were many full laundry bags in the small, cramped hallway making it actually a big dangerous for my 2 kids as we were perched on top of the stairs - with 5 storeys beneath. |The cleaner was apologetic though and finished pretty quickly.|The room itself was just functional with 4 single beds - the bathroom was rather small though. Left early-ish the next day - did not have breakfast, but it was at least useful to store our luggage in reception...

They have an UNSAFE INTERNET, so they can SCAM you, getting information of your personal data and THE WORST: your BANK APP.
I had the obligation to stay there, because there was not room available in other hotels (of course... I didn't use their Internet network at all).
There are 2 very kind and helpful employees, whose are: Kamel (the recepcionist at night) and the chambermaid ( I don't know his name ) they both did a GOOD JOB.
However, there is another recepcionist, Who is a BIG RAT and RACIST too! His name is vert tough to pronunced, he is attending durante the Day, from 8 am. to 8 pm.
I asked him to call the chambermaid to give him a tip and he called him... SCREAMING ON HIM!!! The chambermaid looks like an african refugee. Can you imagine how this bad person (the recepcionist) treat this poor refugee, when they are alone??
Before I left the hotel, I gave 15 euros to this dishonest employee and I said to him: " please split this amount, between you and Kamel "
He didn't do it... he STOLE the other 7.50 euros that had to split with Kamel!!
Take care of your personal information and bank app, AVOID to stay at this hotel!
I upload the pictures...
Read moreThis hotel wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t for the people smoking inside their room right near our room and the stink of the cigarettes coming inside our room and the common shared corridor. When I complained to the staff they told me it is coming from outside, which was nonsense, so they did not even bother or take seriously a complaint and go and actually check the room. It was a very old couple staying there for 2 nights and it seems like the staff did not want to disturb their ‘old’ customers and allowed them to smoke inside the room, even if they were technically breaking the law. Another downside was that AC at night kept switching off and it was getting very hot and uncomfortable to sleep, it was noisy if people would speak in the reception (the room was next to the reception on the ground floor), so there was a bad soundproofing. Also the rooms were not very clean when we checked in. Also this hotel was too expensive for what it was worth. On a brighter side, the location was very good and at least there was tea, water and cookies that you could get for free from the reception. They allowed us to check out a bit later, which was nice of them. With all said above, I would never stay...
