Our visit to L’Appartement today was okay. We were celebrating a dear friend’s birthday, and were somewhat underwhelmed by our visit. The brunch menu, attached to this review, was €25 - something that was over priced for what we got. Additionally, the croissants came very late, after we finished our main dishes, and I think we’d have appreciated these with our coffees at the start. On one of the poached eggs, there was some eggshell, which could have caused an unpleasant accident. The servers were nice, but not exceptional - something we had expected when paying this much. I am beyond frustrated after my visit here. I ordered the chicken, expecting a delicious meal with sauce and sides, but instead, I got a tasteless, plain chicken thigh that looked like something you’d make when sick. The fries were just ordinary and unremarkable.

To make matters worse, my friends each spent €18 on cocktails that tasted like weak juice—no real alcohol at all! For the money we spent, we deserved much better. This place is a total rip-off, and I won’t be returning. Avoid it...
