Walked in completely randomly in a Friday afternoon. So surprised to find this quirky, charming, and utterly authentic little bistrot. The hostess / bartender / waitress was welcoming, spoke English, and carefully explained the menu to us. Everyone else in the place was speaking French, engaged in conversation with each other, not a phone in sight. I felt like we had accidentally stumbled upon a central casting of authentic Parisian characters! 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 beers, 1 tea,1 coffee, and 1 great dessert for 49 Euros! Was it the very best food in Paris? Not really, but felt so authentic, not catering to tourists like us, I almost shouldn't write this review lest it become over-run by the wrong type of tourists. Here is a clue to good behavior: bring some French language with you, say bonjour, deux pour déjeuner. Make an effort, and you will be rewarded!

The most darling and authentic French experience. A small restaurant with charming and quirky staff. We do not speak French and they didn't really speak English, but we got on just fine. The toasted goat cheese sandwich is heavenly, the beet salad delicious and the stuffed tomatoes....well...you might even be tempted to lick the plate the get the last drops of the sauce ... We will be back.

We found this small restaurant by accident but what an absolute gem! The starters, mains and deserts are limited to 4 items each but all of them are excellent. Most important of all, it was the coldest beer I have had in Europe. The service is friendly and super helpful.

Me and my friends just wanted to sit down and drink something. When I wanted to go to the bathroom the owner tried to tell me to go to the public bathrooms on the other side of the street. We tried to tell him that we wanted to drink something too and he said it would be ok when I use the bathroom. I told him that I would take a water and instead of explaining that the water is for free. He said some French phrases and went to the back of his cafe without bringing me a water. After 5 minutes he kicks us out of his cafe with no explanation. The water is usually not for free so we had no idea and instead of kicking us out and being extremely rude, he could have asked us to order something that is not free. Also he barely spoke any English, I do not recommend to come here if you’re not Parisian. Absolutely rude...
