A warm welcome! The place was suggested by my sister and it did not disappoint. The experience was amazing. The couple who took care of us was friendly and professional. And the service was top notch. The food was fantastic. We were a table of four and we ordered from the set menu (M6, M8, M7). To start with, we ordered on top of our set started , 10 chicken momo to share. Those steamed raviolis were so good and the sauce that come with was fantastic. I definitely recommend having those when visiting. The set starters were Chicken tandoori (on the bones), lamb sheiks and vegetable samosas. We also ordered the lassi Mangi, banana and rose. Everything was so tasty. All of our curries that followed (tofu, lamb and chicken butter) were exquisite. The portions were also very generous. We will definitely be...

The food is top class. I had the biriyani with chicken, lamb, shrimp and king prawns. Everything was done perfectly and flavorful. It wasn’t spicy enough for someone who loves it spicy, but I have no doubt it would’ve been if I had asked.

I haven’t tried rose lassi before, but it was pretty good. Will still recommend the mango lassi.

I was on my way out, but had to stop the waiter, so I could try more. The dessert: Gulab Jamun. It was too sugary and not that impressive.

It seems like they have westernized all their dishes (more sugar, less spicy), but stayed true to the flavors.

The toilet was superclean and service was top-notch as well. So it’s still five stars just for that marvelous main dish. I’ll want to come back for...

I am not a serial google review writer….but….. Found la cuisine de l’Himalaya this evening as we were looking for some quality Indian food. The place is hidden away a little, but It is well worth the 5 minute walk from place de La republic. The food was first rate…we had poppadom's and pickle and honestly could have just eaten 20 of them and left they were that nice. The samosa were packed solid of goodness. Both our curries, chicken tikka masala and a madras were rich in flavour and cumulatively spicy without being uncomfortable. The service we received was attentive, professional and very friendly. Please, if you are looking for something different from the usual French cuisine give this place a go. It...

It was a very satisfying meal and the dishes are very very delicious. Try agneau/lamb or Chicken/ Poulet madras curries along with Roti/Garlic Naan and Starters are fantastic(Momo’s,Chilly Chiken and Fish) . Homemade deserts(Kulfi) you must try at the end. Affordable prices and above all very good Indian,Tibetan &Nepalese cuisine. Pleasant welcome by the staff (Pradeep) and Owner Nirmal. Excellent Service and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. ☺️
