La Ferrandaise table gourmande Gault&Millau 2025 — Restaurant in Paris

What a terrible experience. We booked for new year's eve.

Once we get there, they tell us that there is only very limited choices of their menu. We had no choice of main meal, and only 2 choices of entrées. However, we were told that we can choose our desert. Unfortunately, the food was very average, cold, and every time the server came, they had no idea what they were serving us. When the desert came, they simply told us "this is what's left" and gave it to us.

When you reserve in a restaurant for new year's at 10:15pm, we expected to be able to have some choice. And we weren't ready to cancel with no other reservation elsewhere...

The owner / manager was a real jerk and racist. When we told him about the bad experience we had and that we felt it was unacceptable to pay full price for a mediocre meal with no choice, he started swearing and calling us names, using profanity and racist comments. Employees around him felt terrible and walked away in shame. We were greeted with many apologies at the door by the waitresses when leaving.

Please stay away from this place.

Food is average at best. Manager does not care about client experience. Manager is racist and aggressive. Poor management - what restaurant runs out of everything for clients who reserved?!?

To add to my original review... We returned to the restaurant recently and had a fantastic meal. Arriving at around 7pm it was very quiet but it soon filled up and was very busy and bustling by the time we left. Food and service both wonderful. We did not make a reservation but it would probably be a good idea.

Original review. We had a very good meal here. Unfortunately the night we went they were fully booked inside so we sat outside at little tables next to a road (not too busy) and the serving staff were perhaps a little distracted by what looked like two large groups arriving around the same time. We had the 6 course tasting menu here and it was really good! The portions were much bigger than I expected of a tasting menu though, so after 4 courses we were already bursting at the seams. The veal was exceptional. There was a strange seafood dish that was not very good at all. Of the desserts I would highly recommend the lemon tart and the coconut ice cream.
