I had a wonderful time dining here with my fiancé. The burger and chicken were both delicious! We were served by Margo, who did an excellent job explaining the menu and making us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was only her second day, she was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. This spot was a great part of our vacation, and we’re glad we stopped in!

La Gazette Batignolles a, sans nul doute, gagné sa place dans le quartier des Batignolles. Sa décoration industrielle-chic, notamment par son merveilleux bar, est magnifique. L’accueil de l’équipe est toujours très chaleureux, on s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise voire « comme à la maison ». La cuisine y est d’excellente qualité, résolument bistronomique. Mes péchés mignons restent la salade cesar et le tartare au couteau. Simples direz-vous ? Mais tellement difficile de trouver une bonne adresse ! A côté de cela, le chef saura vous surprendre par ses menus du jour ou sa très jolie carte. Je vous invite à les suivre sur Facebook où ils publient chaque jour les plats du jour et vous emmènent en cuisine pour vous livrer quelques secrets ;-) Une adresse que je recommande chaudement !

When my fiancée and I first arrived in Paris, we had a stroll around the neighbourhood and walked past this lovely restaurant, read the menu and decided that we just have to eat here some day. So on our last night in the city of light we had dinner at La Gazette and we can absolutely recommend the Steak Tartare (first try for my fiancée, she LOVED it!), the Bavette a l'echalote, the mojitos and the very nice 100% french Marguerite cherry flavoured beer! Also the deserts were awesome, especially the Chou Craquelin!! Many thanks to the lovely staff at La Gazette....

A nice restaurant with brasserie classics done well. And a very good option in Batignolles, especially if you are outside the normal service hours. Their Ceasar salad is out of this world. After living in Batignolles for 5 years, I never missed it when I'm back. Go and try it ! And like my review once you will be day...
