Worse service ever. I normally do not ever leave a review, this is the first exception i make. We got a cheese plate that was made up of OLD dried out pieces of emmental, a piece of old goat cheese and a slice of again OLD dried out camenbert. We tried a bit of everythign to see if anything was eatable after which we gace back the place including cheese. When the waitress came with he bill she put the cheeseplate on (though the other waiter had said we'll take care of it when we sent gave the plate back) so we kindly said we pay for all except the cheese after which we got half the staff at out table calling us names and one took my phone off the table and put it behind his counter, thereby forcing payment. Discussion went on for about 45 minutes. this for us was not evern about the money or a stupid cheeseplate but the principle. In the end we were forced to paid all (including the cheeseplate we gave back) as we could not call police (they had my phone, my friends battery was dead and they did not let us call the police from there). After paying we got a whole lot more nasty comments thrown at us. Long story short. TERRIBLE FOOD. TERRIBLE STAFF. There are so many nice places in this area, don't waste your time going...

I had dinner on last Tuesday. Everything else was good, but the service. The waiter was too eager for tips.

Three guests (they were freinds) were sitting in three seperate tables beside me. There weren't many guests at that time. When they asked for bill, they gathered all the small money including cents as tips to the waiter. But the waiter was unhappy after he saw cent coins. He also told the guests something like 'I don't want cent coins', which I think was quite rude. After that, one guest went to toilet. During that period, another guest came, and asked for a table. The waiter just let him sit in that table. After that gentleman came back from toilet, he saw his table was taken by someone else.

And when I asked for a bill, that was EUR26.5. He said to me 'how about 30 Euros? Of course you can pay me more, like 35 Euros.'. Finally, I paid 29 Euros. But I still think it's not America but Europe. Guests should have the right to choose whether to give tips or not, and also the amount of tips. And the waiter didn't provided better service than others. For example, I ordered onion soup and steak. He didn't remind me the quantity might be more than enough.

After I finished that meal, I decided to expose this...

Very bad unorganised service. One of the worst I've seen, and im not the one to complain. This is my first time writing a review, because in my honest opinion it is blasphemous to even pay these prices for the food and the terrible service it provides. Very unorganised unprofessional staff. Ordered onion soup, fish and chips, duck confit, tea and cappuccino. The soup was alright, i didnt get a spoon for it tho, had to get one myself, ane the pricing was double what it cost at a close by, 10 times better restaurant bouillon pigalle. And it was rather cold. Then came the 5€ cappuccino which was the size of an expresso and tasted like one. Duck confit was dry, with grilled potatoe chips, which should be crunchy, but were just wet and soggy, my wife's fish and chips was also traumatising to be honest. All food was dry, no salat. The prices for in paris arent high here, i know that, but you should receive a lot better servise and food for it, thats the truth. Do not recommend this restaurant. Sadly didnt take pics, because food...

Conveniently located near the popular concert venue Le Divan du Monde, La Cigale and Là Boule Noire, the hip La Marmite is the best place to fuel up before a show or regain some energy after rocking for two hours! (It is open very late.) La Marmite has a surprisingly varied and reasonably priced menu, including one of the best salad selections. The salads are quite big and all contain potatoes, a specialty. I always order the vegetarian salad for its large variety of veggies, which go so well with the potatoes (and the sauce). You can also have a drink or coffee. The terrace is always packed, whether it's freezing cold or boiling hot. And despite attracting big crowds, the service is quick and efficient and the staff make you feel welcome. Great atmosphere and good food.

Popped in for some drinks after visiting Montmartre; a Le Choufe, a lemonade & a mulled wine (vin chaud) which came to just over €13. It was fairly busy but service was quite slow. But the staff were friendly enough and the bars in a good location, close to Pigalle metro station. We didn't eat, so the review is 'drinks based' only. The food did look good & there were lots of people dining. Would it be too much of a Brit cliche to say that you either like this bar or you hate it? We certainly didn't hate it but we missed our regular pop-in to the Helice bar, which is a bar that we have frequented many times on our visits to Paris.

Initially, we went there for the Le Consulat restautant but Le Marmite was the place that stole our hunger and it was a good place to hide of the rain. We ordered grilled salmon with very good french fries and a cheese omelette (omelette du fromage) and a green salad side. My phone battery died on Sacre coure and this was the place where i had my battery charged while we ate(for free). So...bonus point for this place! The dessert was incredible: mouse aux chocolate ❤ the best! 2022 and we were back in there to eat. Unfortunatlly i didnt do the lunch photos of the food But the dessert … delicious🤩 Take a Look!
