I’m actually surprised and circumspect by many of the reviews here regarding the staff.
To the contrary to what they say, my friend and I found the staff really friendly, polite, kind, quick to serve. That’s a great service that’s becoming rare in Paris.
Maybe they started to provide a big effort over the time. If it’s the case, then I have respect for them.
Also, they are friendly with you even if you don’t speak French (which is usually not often the case in Paris). I’m French, but I was discussing in English with my Swiss friend, and the waiters were willing to speak English if it made us feel more comfortable.
We took draught, comfortably sat on deck chairs facing the Seine river and the Bercy badass building. The scenery was all comfortable, I definitely recommend you go there. We were so comfortable that we didn’t see time passing, until the closing time (in which, they were super polite telling us that the bar would close)
This bar is a great location if you look for a chill place after you’ve been taking a train from the Gare de Lyon.
