Bexley — Local services in Paris

I visited the Bexley Saint-Germain store (116 Bd Saint-Germain, Paris 6ᵉ) on October 16th around 4:30 p.m. to discuss a defect with a product I previously purchased. When the staff declined to adequately address the warranty issue to my satisfaction, I asked for their names so that I could follow up with customer service. They refused to provide their names.

I stepped onto the public sidewalk and took photos of the store and the employees for the sole purpose of filing a complaint with the company. The two employees came outside, surrounded me, and grabbed at my iPhone to try to delete the pictures. They grabbed my scarf and held onto me, preventing me from leaving. I repeatedly asked to be released. The situation lasted several minutes until I managed to get free. The employees then called the police and continued following me down the street as I tried to walk away.

This was a highly disturbing and traumatic experience but does not seem totally surprising after seeing other reviews on this site about rude behavior exhibited by the employees at this location. I hope that Bexley management reviews what happened and takes appropriate action immediately. I just visited the store this evening. The staff (male and female) - very rude, racist, unprofessional! This is a shame for being a loyal client of the brand; plus, this store is located in St Germain. We expressed “try to be more nice next time”; The male staff replied “we have a stock and data problem, can’t you see”; we said “this has nothing to do with us clients, you did not treat us well” - so much disrespect! Plus, the female staff who was very rude - showed bad facial expression, totally ignored us, did not even respond because she does not even understand a single english word (why are you working in a global brand?). Great quality products at really fair prices. I've been looking exactly for this classic style for ages...!!! Finally found it in Paris. I highly recommend their products. I visited this store three times during a week-long trip. The staff on the morning is fantastic, particularly Guillermo who kindly helped me in Spanish and english (as I'm not a French speaker). He and the whole team were so kind to help me find the right style and size for me, as well as help me with the payment and the tax-free forms.
