During a recent shopping spree, I decided to drop by a restaurant for a quick coffee. To my delight, I was captivated by the sight of beautifully presented dishes being served. Intrigued, I opted for a delectable Caesar salad accompanied by a glass of Chardonnay.
The flavors of both the salad and wine were exquisite. Each bite of the Caesar salad revealed a harmonious blend of crisp lettuce, flavorful dressing, and perfectly seasoned croutons. The Chardonnay complemented the meal wonderfully, enhancing its savory elements with its elegant notes.
Apart from the gastronomic experience, the hospitality of the proprietor was remarkable. The attentive and friendly demeanor of the host made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The service was prompt, ensuring that I had a seamless dining experience.
What added to the overall charm of this restaurant was its breathtaking view of the Tour Saint Jacques and the Ile de la Cite. The scenery provided a picturesque backdrop, allowing me to savor my meal while taking in the majestic landmarks of the city.
In terms of value, the prices were fair, considering the quality of the food and the delightful ambiance. The establishment struck a perfect balance between affordability and an unforgettable dining experience.
In conclusion, my impromptu visit to this restaurant turned out to be a delightful culinary break. The delicious Caesar salad, paired with the refreshing Chardonnay, satisfied my palate, while the warm hospitality and fair prices further enhanced the experience. The cherry on top was the captivating view of Tour Saint Jacques and the Ile de la Cite, making this restaurant a must-visit for both locals and tourists seeking a memorable dining experience in the heart...
Read moreGreat place to get an enema before your colonoscopy. Within 1 hour after departure everything came out. And I mean everything went rapidly. I soiled my pants. The hygiene is obviously terrible.
Edit: I cannot respond to your response in the web version, so I add more details here. You have one other bad review about unwashed salad. I suspect either you haven't washed it, or you washed it with tap water. I am from the Netherlands where we have the cleanest tap water in the world. Hence about half of the Netherlands population doesn't have inmunity against water borne bacteria.
I remember now that you put some sort of hygiene union stamp on your paper menu, which I found odd at that time. Now reading the other reviews I think you know this too and are only trying to save face in your response.
I am putting this review on, because to about half of Dutch population you are indeed a health hazard. Please do not simply try to save face, but get your act together and clean the salad properly (bottled water in your case).
I had throw away a good jeans and had to resort to using charcoal to clean out my colon (the last time I had to do this was in Mexico in 2006).
Know this your cook is good, but you need better hygiene. I am not out to hurt your business, but your response now made...
Read moreHad a wonderful dinner at Le P’tit Bistrot with their delightful French cuisine. The service was stellar and everyone was so kind. They have two menus, one in English and one in French which was great for us as English speaking tourists. There is room both indoor and outdoors as well as clean toilets. We ordered the onion soup, escargot, beef tartare, and sausage. We originally were going to get desserts too but we were so full after the entrees and mains. It’s such a lovely little place - well lit with a comfortable atmosphere and it was very close to Notre Dame which we had just visited. I loved the onion soup it was flavoured perfectly and hearty. The escargot flavouring was delicious and not too oily like it can be at other places and it was nice and chewy. I am obsessed with the beef tartare dish with the pickle/cornichon flavour. The fries are nothing too flash but didn’t bother me too much as it still worked okay with the dish! The sausage is spiced nicely and the mash is interesting as it is cheesy so there is a very big pull. I think it is more on the cheese side than potato side so please keep this in mind. I adore this place and would definitely come...
