Truly outraged by the waitress’s behavior… I went in with my four friends/colleagues to relax and have something warm to drink, given the cold weather. I saw on the menu “cheesecake of the day,” but when the waitress came over and I asked about the cheesecake, she listed the two available flavors in a very rude tone, almost sighing. We should have just gotten up and left right then, but we let it go.

My colleague asked for the size of an XXL coffee with whipped cream, also listed on the menu. The same waitress replied in a very impolite and irritated tone: “An XXL coffee is a large coffee!” Before we could even respond, she had already walked away, leaving my other two colleagues without even taking their order.

At that point, we got up and went to the place across the street. While we were sitting down there, the same waitress entered that establishment and walked right past us. Coincidence? I don’t know, but it was definitely an unpleasant situation—so much so that one of my colleagues got up and went back to the previous place to speak with the manager and ask for an explanation of such behavior. And guess what!? The manager was the waitress in question.

I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and have always respected those who do the same job, so believe me when I say her behavior was absolutely...

I wouldn't recommend visiting this place if you don't like insolent and annoying waiters. We came to eat crepes (which turned out to be not super tasty) but the main problem was the waiter, who started flirting (probably hoping to get good points in the reviews) when I made it clear that I wasn’t going to write a review, the waiter continued to stand and wait until I put a grade, which messed up the whole picture of their place. Unfortunately we forgot our bag there and had to come back the next day, so we decided to give it a second chance and sat outside and ordered coffee and churros (which ended up being very average in taste). When the waiter noticed us, he came over and started asking (aggressively and loudly) why I rated them so bad and asked if i put such a low grade because I can't afford to eat here (financially) then told us to leave. We came for a late lunch with my friend because we were near "les halles". We didn't want to spend hours looking for a spot so we came here. Before eating, we knew that we were going to pay only for the atmosphere and the location. However, the food was even lower than our expectations. Both of us took poke bowls which is hard to miss but we couldn't finish our plates. The rice was undercooked, the chicken tasted like a shoe sole and both of our bowls were flavourless. Not to mention that it was overpriced. However, both the waiter and waitress who took care of us were nice. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are in the neighbourhood. In general, we you see a menu with more than 30 choices on it, it's not a really good sign. Another red flag is when they offer more than 4...
