SCAMMER WAITER, I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this time I have to… we arrived and ordered I ordered a drink and a cola and the waiter said they MUST serve water with food, I thought he would have given me a caraffe for free instead he took a bottle that was charged €8, but this is not why I’m mad. I ordered a mixed board and he gave me an Italian board, I told him and he behaved like I was an idiot, tried to convince me that burrata with pesto was Brie with truffle and paté was some kind of ham, all this Cause I look Asian, but unfortunately for him I’m Italian. Then he said the chef said are the same, and then that they don’t have the other plate on the menu, I keep quarrelling with him and then another guy came I think is the manager and asked me if I wanted the other plate but I didn’t want anything anymore so he took it off the bill. We paid and leave. It’s such a shame cuz the place is beautiful but the service was so bad, if he just said sorry I made a mistake everything would have been fine, but I really didn’t like the attitude. We are very easy going people and usually leave tips, but I can’t stand people trying to SCAM me believing I know nothing. The food was a little below average and the price was high but as expected since were near notre dame. I hope if you go you’ll get...

A pretty terrible experience overall. We were going next door to the theater after so figured it wouldn’t be bad for a quick dinner but we were wrong. My two kids had steak and frites and that was definitely the highlight…they were seasoned and well cooked.

My husband had the dourade special and it was a tiny, miniature fish fillet with no seasoning and some rice with veggies mixed in. I had the cod and it also lacked all seasoning and flavor and the roasted vegetables were really steamed plain ones. I had also had onion soup and it had zero flavor…no sherry, no herbs and was weirdly thick with cornstarch which really dulls the flavor.

Not recommend, even for...

The lady who greeted us was very pleasant throughout the evening, however from there things took a bad turn. I understand it was late and we were one of the very few left. From working in the industry myself I certainly do not appreciate staff shouting and laughing obnoxiously loud in front, behind, and over us. The €39 steak was incredibly chewy and unseasoned. The mashed potato also. The interior and decor of the restaurant is gorgeous but it is clearly designed to swindle people. Do not pay such high prices for disgusting food and poor service. If you want to eat a good cut of steak that’s seasoned correctly with flavourful sides,...

Was honestly surprised at how empty the place was for how pretty the decor was. Definitely a tourist restaurant in the center of Paris. Service could have been better and the waitress never came to check on us. I specified that I wanted my steak done medium rare, and I was instead served a very rare steak that was the one in the photo. I rarely ever send food back in restaurants, but when my plate came back it was clear that the steak had been spitefully microwaved until it was well-done. Not happy for the price we paid. Everyone agreed we had better meals in the smaller taverns and tinier restaurants in France than in these big touristy ones.
