Found this place last minute and since it’s new it was quiet easy to find a table. The venue is well decorated, comfortable, and has a fun and energetic ambiance. My main complaints are towards the food and sadly I must also include the service being a bit inexperienced. I wouldn’t care much about the service if it was another type of restaurant, but since this one is more on the fancy side and I am spending a good amount of money, I also expect and desire a more experienced service. Although I must add I did not take away a star for the service, since I felt like the young waiter was trying to do his best, and was very nice to the both of us. Also offered a nice suggestion for the wine. Both stars were taken away because of the food. First of all the ceviche was really shockingly small for the price of almost 30€ for a starter. Placing 2 langoustine inside of a half cut avocado with a piece of grapefruit is completely not acceptable. Especially as you can see from the picture most of the plate is covered by an inedible langoustine carcass. Hence the only edible part being something incredibly small and something that has almost nothing to do with the word ceviche. This plate really was disappointing on many levels. One thing I do have to give them credit for is their amazing home baked bread. That was very impressive and could eat it for ever. The other two plates were somewhat satisfying. The octopus was a little bit chewy and the topinambour was not at all a topinambour but simply a piece of roasted potato. I’m confused if they do know what a topinambour is or they just thought of doing something simple and hoping the guests wouldn’t notice. For the price of the dish and when I read the word topinambour I do expect to see it since it’s something that requires more work and skills, compared to a single piece of baked potato and i would be okay with paying the price of the dish if the dish has what it said it would have. However the rest of the components of the dish did somewhat come together. The second main dish was fish filet and it was cooked well although a bit too salty. The vegetables that came with it were acceptable but nothing too special. Finally the desert was presented in a very creative way, but the tiramisu was missing some crunch or anyway something with a lil more consistency so you can come close to the texture of a “savoiardo” (the base of a common tiramisu), because how they offered it was mainly cream and gelatinous chocolate pearls, which are creative but texture wise it fails to impress. Overall I don’t really suggest this restaurant for a fancy dinner, i would come again for maybe a light easy dinner since the ambiance is nice, and their wine list also has a good selection.

I just cannot get enough of this spectacular restaurant. I came to visit Paris Dec 11 and Les Foodies was on my list of must do’s. So I came for lunch and also made reservations for Dinner Friday Dec 15. I had the duck and ceviche appetizers and the beef filet main course. Everything is still amazing. Les Foodies is a hidden gem with so much attention to detail, quality, taste, and presentation. Absolutely the best food I have had since being in Paris. Truely artistry in display and such amazing food profiles. I just wish I had discovered this hidden treasure weeks ago. I dined last night and had to go back for lunch. Pictureed is the guinnie hen with mashed potatos and curry sauce.
