We were the only guests, yet he still insisted we sit in a cramped corner. When we moved one table over, he came back to correct us again - not because of any rule, just to assert power. It was rude, petty, and unnecessary.
We decided to leave, and as we walked out, the waiters mocked us through the window, waving and shouting “Bye bye! Au revoir!” like schoolyard bullies.
