MÉLODIE — Restaurant in Paris

We were really excited to try this Turkish restaurant because the photos looked so charming — cozy chairs, warm lights, and a lovely vibe. But reality hit us as soon as we arrived.

First surprise: they didn’t let us sit on the chairs shown in their pictures. Instead, they forced us to sit on plain, uncomfortable chairs in a completely different corner — so much for the atmosphere they advertise.

Then came the attitude: the staff were unwelcoming and downright rude when we politely asked about the seating. To make it worse, they were joking loudly with their friends and co-workers the whole time, shouting across the restaurant like they were at a private party instead of serving customers.

Hoping the food might save the night, we stayed positive — but sadly, the food was a huge letdown too. Nothing tasted fresh or well-prepared.

Overall, this place was nothing like what they show online. It was noisy, disrespectful, and disappointing from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a real Turkish dining experience or even just a...

Found this gem on our way back to hotel the first night..my friend and I LOVE Turkish food and had some lush Sigara Boregi and Cacik. The guys were very welcoming, friendly and handsome! They realised we were English (probably down to our poor French) so spoke some English to us which was nice. Visited again on our last evening and had take out this time my chicken kebab was divine! We often saw a que outside most days when walking past and there’s a good reason why! Sorry no photos as i was enjoying the food too much. A must visit if you’re in the area and like Turkish food....

I’ve read other review. Makes me laugh how people except from a kebab restaurant near railway station to be like a high end restaurant.

Fast service. When I payed everything was ready. Kebab is alright. Vegetables were fresh, tomatoes tasty. Fries were soaked in oil.

Overall good but you can find a better one nearby. Staff wasn’t the most friendly like it was mentioned in other reviews but nothing extraordinary. Just a regular kebab restaurant.

As for the price 11.50 is a bit higher than 10 euro in other nearby kebab place which is not worse...
