Levain, Le Vin — Restaurant in Paris

Had the most amazing time. When we were walking and we were stopped by some locals and they said “ you were going to feel at home here” and this just showed us that this place is a must go.

We sat down and were greeted by the owner who explained the menu in thorough detail and said that he would provide a wine recommendation upon us choosing what we would like to eat. We went for a beef, cheese and pork charcuterie and he then came over and paired us a wine, allowed us to taste it and explain to the origin of it.

My girlfriend and I stopped by Levain Le Vin while on our way to the Bourdeaux bus station. During our short trip to the city, we did not have enough time to sit for a meal, so we decided to order some sandwiches to go. When we arrived we spoke with the owner who explained that generally, they stop making sandwiches after lunch time. However, she kindly made an exception for us and prepared a sandwich for us. Do yourself a favour and visit this place! My boyfriend and I spontaneously decided to visit Levain, Le Vin for dinner and we were so happy that we made that decision. The food is sooo delicious and the wine is top-tier! Our waiter (unfortunately, I did not catch his name) was so sweet and knowledgeable, he translated the menu for us and gave us wine suggestions which were amazing.
