My family got screwed when we visited the shop on last Sunday, giving free cakes for celebrating 1st anniversary from 13:00 to 19:00. I saw on the ad on Sorti a Paris. We got there around 16:40 and waited about 30 min outside because there were out of stock until 17:00. Anyway, when we finally could order, my husband said that "it's embarrassed to ask 3 cakes (we were 4 with 2 kids) so we get only 2 instead". The guy said "No problem you can get 3 cakes ! " My husband said "Are you sure? Really?" The guy said " yes!" We said thank you many times. BUT the casher guy charged 20 € for 3 cakes and 2 drinks!! (We felt embarrassed to get 3 free cakes so we ordered 2 drinks) He told us to get 1 free drink so we thought how come so nice!? But he wasn't.... My husband got confused when he paid. He thought 2 drinks (1 bottle of water, 1 milk shake)cost 20 euro!? I asked the guy that " the cakes are not free?" He said "the free cakes were given from 13:00 to 15:00 and already finished. It's advertised on Facebook and Instagram, but Sorti à Paris made a mistake of the hours." How should we know??? They should mentioned on the door or at least told us when we ordered. It was so obvious that we even told them before we ordered we saw on Sorti à Paris and came !!! I am pretty sure that many people also got screwed because there were some lining up after us. Anyway, the cake was just ok. It's very dry. You need to have a...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience at Lolilol. One of us bought a bottle of water, and because only she made a purchase, she was the only one allowed to use the bathroom. The rest of us — despite being with her and waiting quietly — were denied access and treated as a nuisance.
To make matters worse, while we were calmly standing outside the bathroom door waiting for our friend, the man behind the counter came over and aggressively kicked us out of the shop. No explanation, no basic decency — just hostility and an awful attitude.
It was over 30 degrees outside that day. Everyone needs to drink a lot of water in that kind of heat, and refusing bathroom access to young people who are visibly not causing any trouble is both inhumane and completely unprofessional.
I’ve never been treated with such disrespect in an establishment. If this is how they treat customers, they don’t deserve your business. Avoid...
Read moreThe most striking aspect is the very welcoming atmosphere. The owner is extremely friendly and open, willing to help you with your choice. You may choose between a traditional chimney cake, a chimney cake filled with ice cream, a chimney cake filled with savory ingredients like cheese and sausages, or just traditional ice cream in a cup. The idea of filling the chimney cake is really interesting. I tried the one with ice cream. If you've never tried a chimney cake, I would recommend trying the original one; it's my favorite so far. I'm coming back for...
