Madras Bhavan, located conveniently across from Gare du Nord, is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better.

The Podi Dosa is hands down the best we’ve ever had – a must-try dish you simply can't leave without tasting! Trust me, you won’t regret it. The Kerala chicken paired with their soft, flaky paratha is equally amazing and full of flavor.

The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant and inviting, being relatively new, everything feels fresh and well-kept. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Madras Bhavan for anyone in the area. Great food, warm hospitality – what more could...

Super rude staff during the noon. Because We saw Pani Puri poster outside the restaurant, we entered inside and then we asked for it for said we don’t have it.

I asked politely - why stick poster outside?

She replied - you should asked me before entering if we have Pani puri or not ?

We were shocked but we continue to order something else.

Again same answer that we should have asked before entering the restaurant

Very impolite and rude girl. We left the place and she was also showing angry face and murmuring something while we were leaving.

I went this place few time during evening. Super polite staff. But this experience was very bad. Hope restaurant will train staff how to deal with customer and I will be happy to go again there and...

Used the Stasher app to have luggage stored at this location (restaurant) as it was close by to Gare Du Nord station before our train back to London. Although staff were decent, one of the elder male Indian managers kept asking for money as if he were a begger, it was super uncomfortable and awkward. Like we’ve already paid online for this service on the Stasher app for luggage storage but he’s saying “ma’am maam! please some money” to us on the way out to pay extra (which we didn’t) and rushing us to put our bags away. No hate, I guess some people can be beggers by nature but wouldn’t recommend this place to store bags/luggages. Can’t give opinion on food since we didn’t go to eat and after that weird encounter, we wouldn’t...

I ordered one plate of dosa and two plates of idlis, and the amount of chutney and curry provided was shockingly little. It felt like they were trying to save money by cutting down on the very essentials that make South Indian food enjoyable. Honestly, it looked like they wanted to sell the chutneys separately. How do you expect customers to eat dry idlis and dosa without proper chutney or sambar? This isn’t just poor service—it’s a complete disregard for customer experience. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. Definitely not ordering from here again.
