Mala Bavo — Restaurant in Paris

In the two years I’ve been working in the area, this is the most delicious lunch I’ve had! Located on the increasingly gentrified Rue St. Denis, Mala Bavo has a colorful, inviting interior, a cross between traditional and hip. The staff is also very friendly. As for the food, it certainly tasted homemade. I chose the red lentil soup as appetizer and for the main course, the veggie ratatouille with rice. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse, rich and will satisfy the pickiest chocoholic (that would be me). The prices are very decent. I highly recommend...

We randomly walked in. Best decision ever.

The meze is very diverse, everything was 5 stars. The zucchini was great. We have never had zucchini prepared as a fritter before. Would get again as its own dish. The veggie burger also uses the zucchini as a replacement for the meat.

We also got the mixed meat plate and lamb eggplant dish. The platter was solid. The highlight, however, was the lamb and eggplant. It was portioned well and combined spectacularly well.
