Note 1:First off I need to state that this is from an American's perspective so my expectations will differ from those who might frequent this buisness. Note 2: I 100% recommend having some sort of internet access when you go here. The menu has a QR code on the front for a translated version. The food was great all around from the Salmon Stake(pictured) to the pizza, my group saw it arrive at another table and had to order it. For drinks the esproso martini was smooth and one of the best we've had. I've never tried a Virgin Spritz before but if you like sweet drinks I would 100% recommend it. We ordered a bottle of wine I can't recall the type but it was on the sweeter side and the best wine I've tried. Service was good, our food and drinks were served quickly though a bit slower toward the end when we ordered our last round and recieved the check. The staff were friendly and very pleasent to speak with. The outdoor/indoor seating was a nice experiance. With the windows/walls opening up to the wonderful Paris street life. Overall, I would highly recommend eating here.

I sat here while it began to rain, not thinking anything at all. Which is good because being present with no preoccupations helps with memory, enjoyment, “food to taste better” -Tich Nhat Hanh. The truffle rigatoni avec champignons didn’t need any mind tricks to taste better. While I’m writing this, I’m realizing this may be a top moment in my life. Thinking over events - some say helps to solidify a memory, while others say makes the memory more and more likely to deviate from the truth each time it’s thought of. People should stop sharing their opinions about thought and have rigatoni a few inches from a Parisian springtime rain. Edit: I’m not entirely sure my waiters name was Matt but all reviews say they love their waiter Matt and my waiter was stellar, thanks Matt

Les Turbines is a VIBE. I’ve been twice this week for happy hour — they’ve got some great specials along with good music and patio tables to watch the world go by. Really enjoyed the snacks I tried, pizza and frites. The best part is the service, kind and fun people work here and I’m pretty sure they have a cafe cat. Special shout out to Adrian who brings the best energy while taking great care of his customers! I’ll come back again a few times while I’m here. Cheers 🥂

Food was nice… but a simple salad took 15 minutes to arrive. And it wasn’t served with bread, which is normally a given. I asked for a carafe of water which arrived, but it was warm.

When the “bill” arrived- merely a read out in the waiter’s phone, they’d charged me for a large (25cl) glass of wine, when I’d simply ordered a glass of wine (14 cl). He said he usually asks customers if they want small or large. He didn’t ask me- and in any case, usually in Paris 25 cl is ordered as a pichet or carafe not a glass. I told him in any case, that whatever he’d recorded, I’d actually also only received a small glass. He was adamant this wasn’t the case and brought a glass out to show me the difference between how they serve a 14 cl and 25 cl serving. This was based on some spurious parts of the logo on the glass that they use to fill to small or large- not an actual measure that the customer could verify against. He was gracious in accepting that something had gone wrong. But finally, when you get to pay, they have implemented the American style tip option starting at 10% - this is not normal for France. (Sensibly it wasn’t applied in my case). So food was good but many other aspects let it down.

Update: interesting to note that their response to negative reviews is standardised, and therefore utterly insincere. They ask for more details, but my feedback was comprehensive (did he read it? 😆) So clearly the manager has no interest in addressing...

My bf and I went in for a quick coffee one morning before catching a train, we sat down and ordered and then decided to take it to go because we realised we were late. The waitress came by the table and charged us for the coffee. We then decided to wait out a few minutes for the next train because we were not going to make it to the one we were supposed to take after all. The place was empty except for three tables outside. The waitress came back again and asked us, with an actitude, if the coffee was to go or not? As if asking us to get out already. We were a bit taken aback and we asked her if it was okay if we stayed to finish our coffee and she just gave us a funny look and walked away kind of annoyed. So rude and honestly, just plain irrational. Also, the coffee...
