Go there only if your are Lebanese or French.. because otherwise they just want to rip you off. On the phone they told us the menu (with dessert) cost 22€, when we got there they said it’s 26€, and finally we were billed 28€ for the menu (without desserts) and we paid for the desserts separately. The woman was rude and talking in an extremely condescending manner to all of us. Towards the end she was literally screaming at us. They also want to EVADE TAXES (or the waitress was trying to steal from the owner, and considering we were a group of 6 and she fabricated a 220€ bill for us.. she pocketed a good amount).. she gave us a hand written bill that we were asked to pay by cash.. and since we didn’t have the cash.. she told us to go out and get it.. the nearest cash machines were out of service.. so we walked 1.5km back and forth to get the cash.. and after that when we asked to pay separately they hiked the price again!! I wish I knew an official way to complain about this tax evasion! The food served was cold and average.. there are plenty of better Lebanese restaurants in Paris!
Read moreMy family and I highly recommend Mezze de Beyrouth. They were happy to accomodate our large group of 12, with prompt and attentive service and great recommendations from the owner/chef. We had the assorted starters which were all delicious and a great way to taste many different kinds of food. The grilled meats were also very tasty. The hummus, chicken kebabs, and baklava were my personal favorites (best I’ve ever had including trips to Turkey and Greece)! Portions were very generous, and the restaurant is very clean with a great Lebanese ambiance. We walked 20 minutes here and would do it again in a heartbeat. If you need a break from traditional French cuisine, come try some fantastic...
Read moreFood was delicious. Many options for vegetarians (and maybe vegans). L'assortiment végétarien ( see photo) is big. I got a starter (moussaka) to begin with and couldn't finish the main course, portions are very generous. The waitress was friendly, respectfu and smiley, and the atmosphere was very warm and cosy. Maybe tables were all very close one to each other, so you don't have much space to move freely but that's normal in France when compared to other countries I think. All in all, I recommend this place and I have added it to...
