We booked lunch at Ayako teppanyaki thinking that it would be a quick and simple lunch option close to our destination. Little did we know, we would leave craving more!

As soon as we arrived, we were seated at our table and given a delicious complimentary miso soup and cabbage salad to start. Both are Japanese classics that we’ve had many a time - these ones were done really well.

To start, I ordered the Tataki of salmon, which was so delicate, well seasoned and perfectly balanced texture-wise with the crumb that sat on top. My fiancé went for the gyozas, which he also really enjoyed.

The main course was where we were truly blown away. We went for the angus ribeye which, on the lunch menu, came accompanied by some sautéed vegetables and white rice, all for a really reasonable price. The steak was just absolute perfection - we all go looking for that steak that’ll melt in the mouth and are often disappointed, but this one did exactly that. Like butter! We savoured every bite. The accompaniments were simple and tied the dish together.

For desert, we both chose the yuzu chocolate fondant and with homemade matcha vanilla ice cream which, again, was a massive hit. The yuzu played its part in offsetting the richness of the chocolate and, of course, the ice cream was a tasty and welcome addition to the plate. A perfect example of a classic French dish elevated by the addition of Japanese flavours.

I couldn’t recommend visiting Ayako teppanyaki more - we will definitely...

Title: Delightful Culinary Experience!

I recently had lunch at this Japanese restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance was soothing, creating the perfect setting for an authentic Japanese meal. The menu offered a wide range of choices, from classic sushi rolls to sizzling hibachi dishes.

The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Each piece melted in my mouth, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The hibachi performance was equally captivating, with the chef's entertaining skills adding to the overall dining experience.

The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding me through the menu and suggesting excellent pairings. From the moment I entered until I left, I felt like a valued guest. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of food and service provided.

I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you're a Japanese cuisine enthusiast or just looking for a memorable dining outing, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. It's a true gem that has quickly become a...

While visiting Paris we made reservations at this restaurant based off the good reviews and it did not disappoint. We walked in to beautiful smiles and a inviting atmosphere. We were immediately seated and attended to. We didn't fully understand the menu since it wasn’t in English but the waitress spoke great English and she took her time and walked us through everything. Our food was brought out in three courses with our drinks and salad to start. Our entree and desserts followed separately. Everything was sooo good, hot, and seasoned beautifully. There is a bar area that has the cooking stove where the chef cooks in front of you. But even if you sit at a table you can still see the show. The staff here constantly check on you and take care of you the entire time. There are toilets downstairs if needed. They are open for lunch and dinner but we had dinner. They do offer lunch discount menu items but dinner wasn’t that expensive either. Get recommendations on what’s good, our waitress helped us with amazing choices....
