A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Paris – Mojo is Pure Magic
From the moment you step into Mojo, you’re swept into a world where culinary artistry meets heartfelt hospitality. Nestled in a charming corner of Paris, this restaurant is an absolute revelation — effortlessly stylish, yet warm and welcoming.
The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern chic and cozy elegance. Soft lighting, thoughtfully curated decor, and an inviting atmosphere make Mojo an ideal spot for everything from intimate dinners to vibrant gatherings with friends.
But let’s talk about the real star here: the food. Every dish is a masterpiece — beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu is inventive yet accessible, a perfect fusion of classic French techniques and contemporary creativity. Whether it’s the melt-in-your-mouth duck breast, the perfectly balanced ceviche, or their legendary signature dessert (trust me, don’t skip it), each bite tells a story of passion and precision.
The service is equally outstanding. The staff at Mojo are warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food and wine they serve. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made the entire experience feel personal and unforgettable.
To top it off, the wine list is a curated dream for any oenophile, with a fantastic selection of French and international bottles that pair impeccably with the menu.
Simply put, Mojo is the kind of place that reminds you why Paris is one of the world’s great culinary capitals. It’s more than a meal — it’s an experience. I left with a full heart, a delighted palate, and a new favorite restaurant.
Five stars aren’t enough....
Read moreWe were very excited for Mojo, especially based on its premise (meat and sides cooked on a green egg) but unfortunately, for the price, it fell flat.
The first courses and the wine were excellent but the mains were decent at best. As green egg owners ourselves we were expecting something interesting, but the steak (we both had the skirt; it’s possible that the bigger cuts are different) was no different than a normal “steak frites” paired with underwhelming sides (the potatoes were basically inedible).
Beyond the mediocre main course experience, we struggled throughout the night with service. It felt rushed (we were barely seated before we were asked to order), inconsistent (our neighbors were offered the nights special main course but not a special appetizer, whereas we were given the opposite choice), and a little “upsell” focused (we ordered champagne as an aperitif and without any hesitation/clarification were poured the more expensive of the two options. You can argue that’s on us but it’s still a little eyebrow raising. We were also upsold on food for our daughter but I’d rather leave that alone).
All in all, this meal would have been fine if it weren’t for the price. For what it is, and what it costs, you are far better cooking steak at home, or finding a restaurant where the food and service...
Read moreFirst Class Restaurant we ate here on Saturday the 6th August 2022 and the food was fantastic. The restaurant interior design is beautiful and on point to every last detail, creating the perfect ambience for a late night meal out in the city. The starters of heirloom tomatoes and surf and turf tartare were well received. The mains of Wagyu Beef and Angus Lower Rib were cooked to exactly medium rare as requested and packed with flavour particular note for the Wagyu Beef it was superb. We accompanied the meal with some white and red wines all of which were great representations of french wines. Lastly but not least we have to note how amazing the service was from start to finish we felt like VIP guests and it made our engagement night perfect well...
