You will always be in for a delicious surprise here. Their chef conjures modern French dishes based on fresh, seasonal, organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. Hence the menu changes every week or other days depending on what’s available in the local markets. Not a fan of black pudding but their take on it knocked my socks off… the earthy blend of flavour and textures made every bite a delight. The mains were equally delicious, especially the chicken dish that was so flavourful and tender, while the fish was cooked to perfection, married with lemongrass foam that highlights the delicate flavour of the fish. If I had to critique, i wasn’t too keen on the pear dessert, felt the spices were a bit too over powering. Service was warm & friendly, waitress spoke English. Great place to come for a date night in a cosy setting or with friends. No loud music making it a nice place where you can have conversations. Food : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambiance : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

if you ended up here because of Michelin, read on. MOKKO is nowhere near that level of quality, not even close. the food? below average. the fish and beef were okay, but the Chef seems to hate vegetables and spices. the veggies with our main course were tasteless and boring, making you feel like you're in a cheap brasserie, the kind that's on every corner in Paris. the wine selection? what a joke. there's no wine list, so they don’t tell you the prices. you'll be in for a shock when you get the bill. we were charged €68 for a cheap wine. when I asked for the price list, the Chef told me to leave. showing a price list? apparently not an option. in other countries, this would be illegal. in short: if you're not French (or probably rather Parisian) and looking for something special, a real gastronomic experience with great tastes and Michelin-style journeys – this is NOT your place. but if you’re fine with mediocrity, well... you’ll love MOKKO.

This place is a hidden gem, located in the lovely Montmartre neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from the metro station. The service is great and very friendly (some staff speak English). The food is excellent and some of the best we have had in Paris. The menu changes weekly - they generally have a few starters, a few mains, and a few desserts to choose from (it’s a small but well done menu). Tonight we had 2 starters of cockles and artichoke, the main of chicken, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. The wine is equally excellent - all natural wines I believe. Got a bottle to pair with our dishes and it was perfect. Would come back in a heartbeat!
