TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Writing in English so the translation is better for everyone.

The place has a pretty good offer of fries + beer for ~5€, which is great for Paris. But the service was pretty terrible.

First, they practically force you to order something the moment you sit at the table. But that’s not the worst part.

I read some reviews on Google maps about the staff making you pay more for the stuff you ordered, since most people simply don’t check the bill, so I naturally wanted to check.

First, I tried simply to take a lot at the bill the waitress was giving me, and she slapped my hand when I tried to look what she was putting to me. Then (I don’t why exactly) she went away and another waiter came to me to show the bill. He was ultra hesitant to show me it, and angry. But finally after trying for the third time he allowed me to simply see what I was paying for.

I later discovered with my friends that one person paid on extra and they didn’t took it out, so it was paid double.

Do yourself a favor and just go to the place in front of them...

I have never left a review before but the service here was so rude that it ruined my entire experience. My family of 3 sat down at three tables as the entire outside area had around 28 tables available with no one eating or sitting as we were the only ones there. We each sat at a table as they were smaller bistro tables. And when we were served the plates were rather large and we also had our drinks so there was hardly any room. Shortly after we were served we were told we need to all sit at one table. We asked how as all our plates and dishware wouldnt fit all on one. Two different servers asked us to move again to one table and it felt so uncomfortable as no one else was around and yet we were being forced to sit uncomfortably and being told we needed to move immediately. I understand if it was busy or more guests were coming but this was just blatantly rude and unnecessary. The food was mediocre after this experience and we left as soon as possible because we just didnt...

We came for brunch and ordered a croque madame and a croque chevre. This was my first ever time trying a croque madame and it was not what I expected, they sent us a tartine. My friend actually ordered a tartine chevre in the past at this place and it was exactly the same as the croque chevre plate. His bread was a bit burnt. The waiter did happen to remember my egg and bring it out on another plate to slide onto the croque madame that identifies itself as a monseuir tartine. The waiter later confirmed that it was in fact more like a tartine and they were using the untraditional bread. The place is nice and the staff are friendly, im sure its a great place for drinks. But unfortunately the food was disappointing and one could see the lack of love, authenticity and passion in the...

Came across this cafe by chance and not disappointed. We had a beer some wine and we liked the atmosphere so much we ordered food also. The Croque monsieur was great value, delicious and came with a side of fries. Staff were super friendly and we enjoyed just sitting and watching the world go by. Would go back.
