Monsieur le Zinc - Odéon — Restaurant in Paris

Dropped on this bar, by accident, on the way back from Musee D'Orsay. We were fascinated by the 'self-service' concept and made to feel very welcome by Felix and Alix. Tried a few beers and enjoyed the charcuterie plank so we went back the following night. There were no free tables upstairs so went into the cellar and accidently crashed someone's birthday party. Nobody was offended and it made for a great 'ice breaker' for the rest of the night. Thanks to all who made us so welcome and for not laughing at our very limited French. Not so wecome was the hangover, next morning, from mixing our drinks! Hope there is another excellent crowd in next time we visit as heard rumours that Felix and Alix are leaving....

I had a lovely night in this bar. There are wine & beer dispensers (white/blond/red beers, ciders, red wine, etc.), you just have to put some money on a card, then you can choose what you want to drink, and how much you want to drink. J'ai organisé mon anniversaire au bar Monsieur le Zinc Odeon et ce fût une vraie réussite !!!!!

Tant par le fait que le lieu est idéalement situé au cœur d'Odéon 🏛, que par le bar , le concept ⛽ et bien évidemment les bières 🍺🍻 .

Mais s'ajoute à cela l'accueil 5 💫 de Vincent (le gérant).

Vincent nous a tout de suite mis à l'aise, nous a réservé des tables et s'est rendu très très disponible pour nos demandes de recharge de cartes, de verres, de planches, et parfois de musique, une tournée offerte de scooter participe grandement à cet avis élogieux 😉

Malgré nos intentions quelques peu alcoolisées, il s'est toujours montré patient et nous a vraiment permis de passer un anniversaire parfait.

Tout cela sans être intrusif (on connait le Barman qui peut-être envahissant, ce n'est absolument pas le cas.)

Vous l'aurez compris, je recommande ... une tournée de shooters (xcellente...
