I'm not usually a fan of Pizzas in Paris, they're usually more bread than toppings, but here they were generous with their toppings, and they were flavourful. We took the Truffle pizza and the margarita pizza and an octopus carpacio as a starter. It was all good. The staff was mostly friendly, but they didn't have an English menu. So I had to translate for friend. We were sharing and the chef was nice enough to cut both pizzas in half on each plate so each of us had both types of pizza in one plate without having to bother cutting it ourselves. Their tiramisu was also really good it was a good balance of sweetness, mild coffee and creaminess without being too much, It was enough to be shared between two persons. The ambiance was good but the place was a little tight, so wheelchair accessibility is not the best.

Babbini pizza, made with spianata salami was exactly what I hankered for after a long day of touring the Parisian sites. The place was moderately busy on a Monday night when I arrived around 9pm in late September. I was solo and did not have/need a reservation. Staff happily set me up at a table by the oven in the middle of the restaurant. The helpful waiter offered good advice on an accompanying glass of red wine. Despite some harsh critiques in the reviews I found the pizza to be absolutely delicious. I accepted the offer of hot oil to make the pizza even spicier. The crust was delicious, as was the sauce and amount of cheese. I really wanted to make a return trip but my time was too short. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had

Who knew you could find great pizza in Paris?! We made a reservation before we landed in Paris for Pizza Chic on our first night (Friday night) and it was a good thing we did. The place was packed at 7:30 and they were turning away so many people. The pizza Babinni was amazing - thin crunchy crust, great spicy toppings and an even better sauce. Great spot for casual dining.

Right so. To be fair, their pizza is great. However, when they burn your coat and scarf because one of their “oh-so-trendy” light bulbs is hanging against it when you leave it on their coat hangers (after expressing concerns but then being brushed off by one of the girls from their staff), this is how it goes down: 1. They throw your ruined scarf away. 2. take your forever stinking, coat outside (left with a big fat massive burn hole). 3. come tell you that they’re sorry but you shouldn’t be so upset. And then 4. ask if you want desert. And then 5. Are surprised you’re not in the mood for tiramisu. So to sum up: night ruined, my late grandmother’s scarf thrown out, my 400€ coat pretty much ruined = them offering our meal for free which came up to 67€. Seriously, thanks so much. I’ll recommend you to all of my friends that are fed up with...
