I had high hopes for dinner at Da Lucia but it wasn't quite what I had expected. The atmosphere was strange, with no music, and the door wide open which caused traffic to loudly echo around the room.
The owner was friendly, but a bit pushy about the specials menu. We eventually ordered the most expensive pizza and it was a bit of a let-down - the base and crust had a mass-produced quality (although Iâm sure they make the dough in house) and the sauce wasn't very flavourful.

The owners were super friendly and excited and were joking around with us the entire time we were there. The food was absolutely delicious, pizza was perfectly balanced in all aspects.
