What a find! We had been 'trouting' (a family term) for a decent place to eat and we plumped for Recontres: the menu was intriguing (duck tartare - come on!!) and the interior had a good feel. The waiter (Guillaume we now assume from other reviews), explained the menu in great detail so we knew exactly what we were ordering.    Read moreFantastic restaurant. Exactly the kind of place you want to go to when in Paris. Fresh, tasty food that is cooked by people who know what they are doing. Lovely people.Highly...

Great food and lovely service - could not be more friendly and accommodating. Food is fantastic - the meat options are great but also lovely to go to a restaurant in Paris where the vegetarian options are as good as the meat dishes. A lot of thought clearly goes into the food - its classic yet different in a good way! Oh and the wine is great too. For me itâs the special little place you dream of...
