Walked in at 2:14 and asked if it was too late for lunch — guy in back says it’s fine please sit. Asked if we could order a chai masala (on menu) - the waiter Ahmed said no — you can order black tea, but reused he possibility of adding milk. So bizarre for such a small request. By 2:36 we had received and eaten our food, table cleared and immediately paid. Less than two minutes after as my partner and I were chatting and taking a moment to digest — Ahmed approaches us and tells us to leave the restaurant is closed. No please or I’m sorry — just leave. Mind you — there were other diners still present. I told him he was very rude and it was no way to treat customers to which he replied “restaurant closes at 2pm” and proceeded to be unapologetically condescending. I’m assuming he felt so emboldened because his boss who had welcomed us in had just left. It was essentially “we’ve got your money now get out”. Honestly — it was appalling and I urge others to stay away from this restaurant. Food is nothing special — can find similar elsewhere with less attitude and more appreciation...
