English, Working in Paris for a few days with a colleague and both like good food so we Researched this place from Google maps and having looked at the menu online decided to give it a whirl. We didn’t book and were quite lucky to get a table as it was very busy and near full capacity, but they welcomed us and found us a table. We decided to share a starter of bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella we got 4 slices so was quite adequate for 2, simple dish and when done right it’s delicious and this was exactly that! slightly warm with fresh basil and tasty tomatoes and a creamy delicious slice of mozzarella on top. 10/10 I then went for spaghetti carbonara maybe a little safe but certainly was delicious the fresh slabs of salty pancetta made this dish stand out and for me the pasta (which apparently is freshly made every day!) was cooked absolutely spot on “al dente”, and the freshly cooked carbonara sauce was again beautiful and coated the spaghetti extremely well. My colleague opted for the spaghetti vongole and also thought his was exceptional and very tasty. The service was a tad slow but this was probably due to it being at near full capacity! Washed down with 5 glasses of wine and two Coke Zero the bill was €131 Food price was €62 so drinks are expensive here but that’s Paris in general in my opinion! Food was top notch and reasonably priced so wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again 10/10 from me. If you’ve read this review to this point don’t delay just go for it you won’t be...
Read moreWe had the absolute pleasure of dining at Da Alfredo yesterday evening with my family, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the first warm welcome to the final bite of dessert, everything was flawless.
The food was incredible, authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every dish, from the antipasti to the homemade pasta and rich, decadent desserts, was perfectly executed. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen.
The service was impeccable, attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. A special mention to Alfred, the owner, whose presence and hospitality add a personal and authentic touch to the entire experience.
Dining at Da Alfredo felt like stepping into a little corner of Italy right in the heart of Paris. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this is a place you absolutely must try. Highly, highly recommended, we’ll definitely...
Read moreI am a Brit working in Paris. I found this place by accident. You won't be disappointed with the food. Traditional and good Italian if you like that (who doesn't?). I had veal Milanese with pasta. All pasta is made a la maison (home made). Owner took over the restaurant a few months ago and decided to take the plunge to reinvigorate the place. It has worked. It was busy at lunch time when I revisited with the team. Best to book. When I ate solo in the evening it was quieter. The owner is enthusiastic. He speaks perfect English, after he detected my poor French. Can't recommend highly enough for good food, good vibe and friendly staff who care. After I discovered it I returned with my colleagues at lunch time. It was busy and our mains were late. After chasing up we were then offered (actually given) 3 desserts (unbelievably good) on the house as an apology. That doesn't happen often in Paris. Five...
