I would like to share our experience at this hotel, which was not pleasant at all. I have to admit that the service at this hotel is terrible, and the stuff is not able to resolve the issues. Me and my friend booked a classic room for 2 people. I explicitly added the comment in the booking that we will require two separate single beds, not a single double bed. However, when we arrived we were given the room with one single double bed. In addition, the room was extremely tiny. We asked at the reception whether it is possible to change as we booked the room with two beds, however the hotel stuff at reception responded that there was no possibility to change. He also added that because we booked via booking.com not the hotel's website they do not take into account any guest's requirements specified in the booking. We then asked to provide us with at least the second blanket, which they rejected to provide as well. This entre experience made our stay in Paris not pleasant at all. I had never in my life faces such a horrible service in the hotel. I would recommend is you are looking to stay in Paris in this area to find an alternative hotel, and not book this one. Also at 8 am someone walked into our room . And then again half an hour later. Very disappointed.

I was wondering if i should share this hotel with all of you , at the begging i was very possessive about this wonderful hotel then I remembered that sharing is caring. So I decided to share my experience. I have a high standard. Very high actually, im being paid for my standard as a peak performance advisor. So average is not my cup of tea. But to find luxuries on a budget this is something I appreciate deeply. The design is brilliant, resonating quality and class . The room is amazing larger then average , the walls design make you feel safe and hugged all the time . The bathroom is great nothing less. All the hotel was renovated a year ago and its simply wonderful!! But the great gift of this hotel is his location location location... 200 meters from Champs Elysee , 50 meter from the Monoprix and everything you need in this vacation and any important location is about 15 minutes walking distance from every side. Highly highly recommended. From my perspective its my perfect choice for Paris .

We highly recommend! Professional, attentive staff, an amazing breakfast, and a spotless, elegant setting made our stay unforgettable. The comfortable beds and peaceful ambiance allowed us to fully rest and recharge—exactly what we needed for our Paris adventure. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating—truly some of the best hospitality we’ve experienced. The hotel itself is clean, elegant, and full of charm—everything you’d hope for on your first trip to Paris. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the amenities are top-notch. The breakfast was absolutely spectacular and felt like the perfect introduction to Parisian life. We can’t say enough good things—Hotel Rochester helped us create lifelong memories, and we’re so grateful for the experience.

Great location. You have Arc du Triumph walking distance and Eiffel a short 3 metro .stops away. Mini market, boulagerie,, restaurants very close by. So location is excellent. The hotel itself is very pretty, clean, traditional style, nicely decorated. Rooms are small but good for Paris standards, still super comfortable, clean, pretty.. AC was perfect. The staff is kind, professional and courteous. They are very helpful and very attentive. We will definitely come back and will recommend to everybody. We only had one issue when sending 4 pieces of clothes for laundry , they mixed it up when delivering it to your room and we didn't get them when expected. We spent almost a day very annoyed because we were not sure we'll get our clothes back. They managed the best they could but Dominic and Soraya went above and beyond ande found our clothes after a bit more of 24 hours of waiting for a solution. Other than that all was good and we will come back for sure next year... (but won't give any clothes for laundry, unless they change the method and give the option to pick it up yourself). Still a great hotel, price is good for the area and quality, , highly recommended.(Note to hotel: it can be a difficult de step into the bathtub as the border is very high which can be a problem for senior people or people with some mobility issues, specially when you almost don't have a handle to grab yourself while you step in and out from taking a shower. Also the half-glass door is a bit annoying and dangerous too as if you use it to help yourself while going in and out of the shower can be tricky and slippery. I think the bathtub and shower system can improve, but in general it was very good). Thanks for making our first time in Paris...

We stayed for 6 nights x 3 rooms with 8 guests.

Unfortunately during our stay, at Hotel Rochester, we contracted Noravirus and one by one gradually became extremely sick.

My teenage son was overcome with nausea and got sick in the common corridor stairwell. He came upstairs and then went back down looking for his cousins because he was in distress. He did not tell me that he was sick in the hall.

I was informed the next day of the incident (which the hotel reviewed on CCTV) and threatened with charge of 200 euro cleaning fee for the common space. Then they threatened the same charge if the room did not pass inspection on check out.

Apparently no one was paying attention to the security or safety of the guests until the next morning when they discovered the mess on the stairs.

Rather than help us or offer any support the staff, in particular, Yulia, showed us no compassion whatsoever, was extremely rude and indiscrete.

It was a very unpleasant and upsetting experience - the worst service we have ever had in a hotel. Instead of helping us with a health crisis away from home, the service team added to our misery and created a lot more anxiety and stress.

The three rooms we occupied should have been completely disinfected and cleaned which I guarantee they were not - because the hotel asked us nothing about how we were feeling what was going on. I don't think they even knew there were two parties of us and three rooms.

If their entire staff comes down with Noravirus maybe they will show a little more compassion next time to their guests and pay more attention to what is really going on in the hotel.

I was really disappointed and would give zero stars if I could. Terrible,...

SO IT IS JULY 24TH AND I AM TIRED OF COMMUNICATINCATING WITH THIS HOTEL. I BOOKED THIS ROOM FOR JULY 11TH 2018 AND NO MONEY WAS SUPPOS TO BE TAKEN OFF MY CARD AS PER TRAVELOCITY I HAVE SCREEN SHOT PROOF OF THIS. THIS HOTEL HAS FAXED INFORMATION TWICE TO MY BANK. THE 1ST TIME IN FRENCH THE 2ND TIME IN ENGLISH BUT NOT ALL OF THE INFORMATION THAT THE BANK REQUIRES TO RELEASE THE FUND ON HOLD. IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY THERE PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT HOW YOU BOOK THIS HOTEL AND HOW YOU PAY THEM. ESPECIALLY THROUGH TRAVEL SITES. I DID NOT REALIZE THAT THEY WOULD GO AGAINST THE TRAVEL AGREEMENT ON TRAVELOCITY. AND THEN WILL NOT COMPLY WITH WHAT MY BANK ASK FOR IN ORDER TO RELEASE MY MONEY. THE HOLD IS FOR 30 DAYS SO I AM BEING FORCED TO WAIT UNTIL AUGUST 5TH FOR MY MONEY. AND THE HOTEL HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME TO REMOVE MY REVIEW.

WHAT A FRAUD. MY BANK NEEDS THEM TO SEND INFORMATION BY FAX SUCH AS MERCHANT ID, ORIGINAL AUTHORIZATION NUMBER, MY NAME, AMOUNT OF THE CHARGE DATE OF THE RESERVATION, STATEMENT SAYING ITS FINE FOR THEM TO RELEASE THE AUTHORIZATION MANAGERS NAME AND SIGNATURE. WELL THE DID IT BUT IN FRENCH. THANKS A BUNCH FOR NOTHING. MY BANK CAN NOT US IT BECAUSE ITS NOT IN ENGLISH. MY RESERVATION WAS NOT IN ENGLISH. MY BANK DOES NOT SPEAK NOR READ FRENCH. THE MANAGER EMMA VERDIE AT THE HOTEL DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THIS FOR SOME REASON. SO YOU MEAN NO ONE CAN WROTE OR TYPE THE INFORMATION IN ENGLISH? REALLY?

HORRIBLE, BOOKED THE HOTEL AND IT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO DEPOSIT. WELL THEY TOOK OVER $260.00 OFF MY CARD FOR A JANUARY 11, 2018 RESERVATION. THEN TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE ME 7 TO 10 DAYS FOR MY REFUND. SO DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL STAY...
