Overhyped, rude staff, disgusting cold food !
We visited this establishment today, the member of staff working refused to let us sit in the seating area downstairs whilst the top floor was full. He crammed us into a corner where we struggled to breathe. Another family came in so he had no choice but to open up the second floor. So picture this, around 10/15 empty tables, to our horror the waiter told us and the family of 4 to sit with each other. Me and my husband came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We kindly advised that we wanted to sit separately. He rudely said he would have to clean another table if we don't sit together! I am shocked to my core! We promised him we wouldn't make a mess and sat separately so that both us and the random family would have our privacy. You can't even make up what followed later . The waiter got really rude and said "fine suit yourself", slams out drinks down, and came back with our food which was freezing cold and tasted stale. On top of that the family got upset that we didn't sit with them. You really can't make this stuff up! We went to pay for the disgusting food as we didn't want anymore drama. The same waiter didn't took the payment and didn't even look at us. He was just so angry. How childish. How he is able to be at the forefront of this restaurant is beyond me. Only came here because of TikTok. Will never visit this place again. I hope you don't either!
Hi in reply to the response, we came on th 24th of July, he was a dark skinned guy, we...

Victor was famous for many novels one popular being the Hunchback of Notre-Dame and the forever famous Les Misérables. So this burger had to live up to its name and it certainly did! The beef patty was packed with flavours being unleashed with every bite. The fillings were crispy and a hint of French touch could also be tasted. The only downside to my food were the over-cooked chips. Upon showing the dissatisfied chips, the price was deducted from the bill; the gesture was very satisfying. . My burger cost €12.50 euro and chips would normally cost €3.00 and a can of coke €3.50. . The staff were friendly and hospitable. We were seated facing the window on tall chairs, like the Eiffel Tower due to us not making a prior booking; it felt like the naughty corner at times. Nonetheless, the waitress did offer us a table halfway through our meal. . . Although the name of the restaurant sounds like a horror movie (Le Butcher) it was nothing of that sort. The setting was retro with seating downstairs which appeared slightly...
Read moreWent there with my colleagues for dinner as my colleague heard good things about this place... to be honest it was not that great.. the portion is not too big so after few hours you might get hungry.. I had the vegetarian burger -only one option for vegetarians and it’s for 12€ or so.. and wasn’t so happy with the taste or the size(too small) My colleagues ordered the beef steak and the good part was that they asked how would they like it to be done -rear,medium ,well done .. it was just perfect so one extra star for that... the portion though as I mentioned was not satisfactory (we all are thin people ) anyway we all waited for very long about 25-30 mins or so for our order to come while people beside us got their food much earlier while they came later.. anyway the milkshakes are rich and heavy and good so took the banana Nutella one but in a take away cup.. the take away cup has no lid so it wasn’t a very good experience... the attitude of our waitress was very casual.. but I would give it a miss next time I’m visiting Paris... there are better places to visit which aren’t that...
