Very nice, small, cozy place. All the French classic. It has its own French charm as the menu is written on a board by the entrance and all the formula deals. Had a refreshing, warm goat cheese salad prepared in a classic French manner (they don't load up salads, it's usually just very fresh lettuce leaves with some oil and vinegar) with some bred crumbs on top. For the main dish, I had an amazing soul warming beef Bourguignon, very tasty (best one out of dozens I tried for my taste). The owner doesn't rush with a bill as in other places, you have to ask for it (which is also the best for me). Paid 14 euros for the formula regretting all the other times I paid 60-70 euros in so called "popular" restaurants and had the worst meals ever. It is also ok to sit here till late with just drinks. The food was really good for the price we paid, and you can tell it is where the locals go. The bread was homemade and quite tasty. There was a bit more to be desired in the dessert, but really this place is not a place for desserts..,.
Definitely a hidden gem in Paris. Very confused about the bad reviews, we were treated with respect.
10/10 would recommend and come again.

Read morePretty good experience there, i heard from word of mouth. We went on a wednesday at 8pm, the terrace was full. Basic french food, for a reasonnable price in Paris with no tralala, like in a cantine. I recommand the goat cheese and salad for starter. The Aubrac steak (with additionnal salt and pepper), then a homemade chocolat mousse for dessert, all for 17euros. Pitchet wine for 2 was ok, for 9€. It is not a palace's restaurant, but a traditional brasserie, trying to survive in difficult time. Nice staff, trully welcoming. Many regular locals on that day, which is a good sign for me. Ps: take a menu,...
