We went with a group of friends, and first of all, they don’t mention on the website that after a certain hour on the rooftop, you’re required to order food. We made a reservation for 7:00 PM thinking we could just have drinks and do an apéro, but they told us we had to have dinner which is unfair since it’s not stated anywhere.
We ended up ordering some food, but what’s truly shameful is that they told us we could only stay for an hour and a half. I mean, who finishes dinner in an hour and a half? 🤣 We hadn’t even finished eating and drinking when they started telling us to leave.
The prices are high for the quality, and they don’t even offer complimentary snacks like all good bars, rooftops, or high-end places usually do.
The worst part was the service, the staff were rude and unwelcoming. And the view? A complete joke. You can’t even see the Eiffel Tower unless you’re seated at the far end, so it’s basically no different from sitting on a regular terrace, the view is not even that great.
To be honest, it’s not worth it. I’ve been to the best rooftops in Paris, including some in the most luxurious hotels. This place tries to act fancy, but the way they treat you is ridiculous, like they think they’re royalty or something.
Even at truly luxurious and exclusive places I’ve been to, the experience is completely different. At all the other rooftops I’ve visited, you can go just for drinks, they offer free snacks or apéro, you can stay longer, the websites provide clear and honest information, and most importantly , the service is good, professional, and friendly. Because a good level includes not only the setting, but also good service and professionalism.
At the fanciest ones, they even gave us multiple complimentary drinks for free. This rooftop "Villa M " is an absolute joke. There are so many other and better rooftops in Paris in every way, don't waste your time going to...
Read moreOur family of four had a truly perfect evening at Restaurant Villa M, creating lasting memories as we enjoyed an exceptional rooftop dinner in Paris. The views of the Eiffel Tower and the city skyline were simply breathtaking. The food was nothing short of spectacular, and the drinks were fantastic as well. The service was polite and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless. However, what truly set this evening apart was the ambiance—it was off the charts! We can't wait to return for another...
