Sangeet — Restaurant in Paris

We had planned a family and friends dinner at this cozy authentic Indian/nepali restaurent.😋 We had chosen this restaurent looking at the reviews and pictures and we were happy that we made a good choice. 🤩🤩We had ordered Momo's, aloo chat and pakodas in starters. We have been searching for steam Momo's for so long in Paris so finally were happy to have them. Aloo chat was very yummy, crispy potato galette with mildly spicy chutney. I would call this place an heaven for breads. We had ordered several types of their bread and every type of bread was beyond excellent. Not to forget Nan Maison. We had ordered baigan bharta, paneer masala and Dal tadka. The paneer was so yummy that we ordered it again just to smell the very aroma. To end we had kulfi and chai. The chai was delicious. Visitamos Sangeet en París y quedamos encantados. La decoración es acogedora, con una luz suave y un ambiente agradable que invita a quedarse. La carta combina lo mejor de la cocina india y nepalí de forma creativa, los sabores estaban bien equilibrados y las presentaciones cuidadas. El servicio fue muy atento, profesional y super amable desde el primer momento. Además, la ubicación en el 13.º distrito resulta cómoda para una cena tranquila. En resumen: una excelente elección para disfrutar en pareja o con amigos, y sin duda volveremos.

We visited Sangeet in Paris and were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and an atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. The menu beautifully blends Indian and Nepali cuisine in a creative way, the flavours were well balanced and the presentation was thoughtful. The service was very attentive, professional and friendly from the very first moment. Moreover, its location in the 13th arrondissement is convenient for a relaxed dinner. In short: an excellent choice for a meal with friends or loved ones, and we’ll definitely come back.

Nous avons visité Sangeet à Paris et avons été ravis. L’ambiance est chaleureuse et accueillante, avec un éclairage doux et un cadre qui donne envie de prolonger la soirée. La carte marie avec élégance la cuisine indienne et népalaise, les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées et les présentations soignées. Amazing Indian food, from what I have tried in Paris so far this was truly the best.The dining room was very clean. The prawn tandoori was very smoky and fresh, the chicken korma was creamy well seasoned and had tender juicy chicken. Chicken biryani had nice spice too it but wasnt overly spicy. The gulab jamun was nothing special but still good. Had a very good talk with the owner/manager who was super nice we had a great chat about his hometown and the restaurant.
