Georgian is my favorite cuisine but this restaurant disappointed. First, the food was a bit bland. The Phkali entree was flavorless and stale. The khachaupouri had too much egg yolk on the edges of the bread and the cheese was not authentic. The Tshashushuli had dry rice and was made with tough beef (as opposed to veal). Most disappointing was the service. The glass of French wine I ordered tasted like vinegar and when I told the waitress, she said that "it is fine, that is how the wine is supposed to taste" (without tasting it). Georgian food is not that known but itâs pretty representative of the Caucasian cuisine and is pretty good! Iâm not an expert but this is probably the best place in Paris you can try the authentic Georgian dishes (ask the waitress if youâre unsure what to choose) and also Georgian vine (take one thatâs made in kvevri - the traditional way).
