Beautiful and incredible collections of minerals and precious stones. I think this is one of the biggest collections I have ever visited so far. I have spent almost two hours but I m sure one can spend half days because there are many rooms and each stores different sections of rocks, gemstones and also books . The building is very beautiful and truly a great visit this time in Paris! It’s located near Jardin du Luxembourg and I will be back...

If you're interested in rocks, diamonds, minerals, jewelry, gems, and any other strange crystalline natural formations, this is the place to satisfy you. The museum is cut out of the Jardin du Luxembourg, and features an incredible collection of specimens from around the world... And also outer space. No kidding, I touched a piece of rock from Mars! The entry also features a nice gallery of paintings of important natural landscapes...
